He bought loads of syringes on Ebay & discarded them around the local park & streets. Kids kept finding them & soon there was a whole public campaign to “Drive out the Dealer Scum”, which he helped to organise! At a rally he read out a poem about his sister dieing of an overdose, then shouted “I made it all up, SUCKERS!” & ran off.
Police charged him with ‘offending public decency’.
I like what some guy from a talkshow once said about the way addicts are perceived by all of us socially. He said that people project the same attitudes on addicts that our social system once reserved for heretics and witches.
I'm pretty sure Quasimodo would have advocated some form of sanctuary

my dad has done 16 years in prison , he is 40 , thats nearly half his life , 15 years were due to drug dealing to support his habbit , he spent most of my life behind bars , but you can beat addiction and he has proven that , 4 years clean :)

worst drug ever, huh? As someone who's been addicted to meth, coke, and H (all injected), I'd say that stimulants are far more dangerous.
Most H overdoses are caused by unknown purity (caused by prohibition, dontcha know), whereas most stim ODs I've seen have been a product of upper-fueled catastrophic thinking.

If people are mixing tobacco and cannabis then it's not the cannabis that killed them is it? Mixing tobacco and herb is pretty disgusting to me, but to each his own. There simply aren't any deaths associated with cannabis that resulted as a consequence of the smoke alone. Cannabis contains NO carcinogens. In fact there is evidence that herb actually reduces the growth of tumors.

HOWEVER, I did NOT use rigs. I only insufflated the stuff or smoked it. Hate needles, plus they get dull very quick and if you don't have a Diabetes card (which I ironically have, as I have type II diabetes), store clerks catch on fast, and in my neighborhood of little to no crime, the 5-0 jump all over petty shit like this. I was able to go cold turkey (minus a few methadones that I managed to scrounge up) and endured nearly 2 straight weeks of hell, but it was so worth it looking back now.
I was a heavy opiate user for over 2 years, I started w/ Oxy 80's and switched to Roxy 30's and then heroin when the OC's were discontinued by Purdue. To this day I am 3 months sober, after crashing my car while severely doped up and drunk. I was also on a shit load of benzo's at the time, and have no memory of destroying my car and 3 parked cars. Heroin is some incredible stuff (both good and bad) but regardless, stay away from it. Never been happier in my 23 yrs. of life. Stick with weed.
From my earlier comment contined; Heroin cause servere crippling addiction the average time a user spends on heroin is 13 years. I can not stress how destructive heroin addiction is.
One last point I wanted to say was that hepatitis C is rife among heroin users people never intend sharing needles when they start or indeed intend to get addicted,but it happens.

worst drug ever, huh? As someone who's been addicted to meth, coke, and H (all injected), I'd say that stimulants are far more dangerous.
Most H overdoses are caused by unknown purity (caused by prohibition, dontcha know), whereas most stim ODs I've seen have been a product of upper-fueled catastrophic thinking.
Prohibition has created the crime and a huge portion of the health consequence of opiate use. Frankly, your post makes you sound closed minded and belligerent.

Thousands of people must have died due to the effects of smoking cannabis (often mixed with tobacco); these deaths would have been classified as smoking related. Smoking is clearly an extremely dangerous method of using cannabis. How many cannabis smokers are nicotine dependent? I would suggest quite a few.

If people are mixing tobacco and cannabis then it's not the cannabis that killed them is it? Mixing tobacco and herb is pretty disgusting to me, but to each his own. There simply aren't any deaths associated with cannabis that resulted as a consequence of the smoke alone. Cannabis contains NO carcinogens. In fact there is evidence that herb actually reduces the growth of tumors.

HOWEVER, I did NOT use rigs. I only insufflated the stuff or smoked it. Hate needles, plus they get dull very quick and if you don't have a Diabetes card (which I ironically have, as I have type II diabetes), store clerks catch on fast, and in my neighborhood of little to no crime, the 5-0 jump all over petty shit like this. I was able to go cold turkey (minus a few methadones that I managed to scrounge up) and endured nearly 2 straight weeks of hell, but it was so worth it looking back now.

I was a heavy opiate user for over 2 years, I started w/ Oxy 80's and switched to Roxy 30's and then heroin when the OC's were discontinued by Purdue. To this day I am 3 months sober, after crashing my car while severely doped up and drunk. I was also on a shit load of benzo's at the time, and have no memory of destroying my car and 3 parked cars. Heroin is some incredible stuff (both good and bad) but regardless, stay away from it. Never been happier in my 23 yrs. of life. Stick with weed.

From my earlier comment contined; Heroin cause servere crippling addiction the average time a user spends on heroin is 13 years. I can not stress how destructive heroin addiction is.
One last point I wanted to say was that hepatitis C is rife among heroin users people never intend sharing needles when they start or indeed intend to get addicted,but it happens.
