I sure have this movie, 'cause it tells about doggies. And I am not being ashamed that the movie is directional for kids. Besides, I'm gonna watch Disney's films even if I grow up some day.

No she isn't...She's going to actually be IN the movie as one of the little kids, possibly going to "own" another puppy, like seen in Space and Snow Buddies, where the extra puppy in the movie was owned by some kid, like Sputnik was owned by some other kid. It's going to be like that. Besides, she has a speech impediment and sounds too young to be a voice of a puppy.
