the hammer can hit grounded and launch enemies but its slow

the axe is fast fast and can hit mulitple enemies

swordsmasters are fast and have flasy moves that do damage to all kinds of enemies

mercs can tank and have very powerfull skills that destroy mobs enough though they are slow

SM shown that he is skilled in the video while mercenary taunt him endlessly because he won with some failed combo......SM MUST be played with SKILLS,unlike mercenaries you can master your combo in a matter of minutes.And this is the worst mercenary I ever seen in my life.....FAILED COMBO

I'm an SM and I'm have decent record with mercs 15 win 10 loses, the SM here should employ hit and run, if the first hit does not connect or the merc is not cancelled, better run the fuck out.

Eclipse is gonna help a lot, i mean a fucking lot.

also you can use provoking slam(hemmorhage/ you know black slash), I know it's slow but when the skill's first slash is done, quickly do a rising slash (lv6 to be followed by air combo).

when i took SM i knew my sword cant deal high DMG like his axe and his skills will be stronger but i thought ill be quicker in combats,but later i found out that SM can die even without atking

if i fall down he will kill me no doubt and if i could escape this and attk him,he can stop my combos with a right click or stomp then spin again

But Swordmasters Really shine at PVE, Crescent cleave does heavy damage to large bosses plus provoking slam can makes bossfights quicker, also their crowd control is really good, SM's are versatile they can be good at ranged and melee attacks, they can't excel at both though :( I dunno but it will change surely when more skills are unveiled.

merc is too easy to use lol, if use SM nid a good timing and accuracy, merc got very big AoE so if anything manage to run away then it still can 'pull back' and spam axe, too easy

I seriously don't know what the hell is that SM build, juding from his skill, he's a hybird with sword skill learn to Line Drive and wave skill learn to Halfmoon. he use a lot of close range close i thought he was a hybird-sword and his magic skill is at a pretty high lv, a lv 6 tornado and a lv5 creasent wave ?!, if he's a to-be-moonlord, why don't he keep distance and attack. totally confused
