hey, can you make this video easier to find on your actual page? this is the only way i can find the link, i assume it's somewhere on the scorsese page but when i try to find it from your main page i have trouble.
Top Scorsese Film P.S. I can't wait for Ashecliffe (or Shutter Island) and The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt 01. Raging Bull 02. Taxi Driver 03. Goodfellas 04. The Last Temptation of Christ 05. The Departed 06. Mean Streets 07. Who's That Knocking 08. Bring Out the Dead 09. The Age of Innocence 10. Gangs of New York
Man, I LOVED part one. Gimmie Shelter is like a scorsese them song at this point and it worked perfectly with your montage. Will it ever go back up? An encore presentation?
This is a very good video but I absolutely love the first part of this tribute. The first part is so kinetic and captivating. It packs a wallop. This one doesn't really kick into high gear like that other one.
Judging by the quality of the images, I'd say he records the films directly from the television with a videocamera or something like that, and then he includes the horizontal bars during the edition. So maybe the audio has the same origin and that's why it doesn't sound so perfect.
By the way, Kubrick's my favorite too. By far. No matter how much I like Scorsese, Eastwood or Michael Mann, among many others like Leone, Lean, Wilder, some Hitchcock, the best of Coppola, and, more recently, Paul Thomas Anderson, whose latest masterpiece would be my pick for this year's top Oscars.

Hitchcock or Kubrick. Has to be one of them. (note, Scorsese was hugely influenced by Hitch. And Kubrick is also just great.)

Maybe but neither of them were his biggest influence.
