  • where did you get the moon image? i have the pluggin but didnt find the image of the moon

  • @shallovvgrave I googled high-res moon map.

  • @CLBray thanks man.

    Already had google it

  • What does it mean " After the Effects"

  • Need to pause on the corona more, otherwise awesomeness.

  • /watch?v=2rzaxLm3osA

  • good work! i also did but i transformed it and a compilation of different sun pictures if you like you can find it on my channel

  • So now I know why it's called a Solar Egg-clipse! ;-))

  • that is the shittest 1080p HD ive ever seen

  • this is not really hd..

  • Well I didnt know the earth was oval XD

  • Nice, and without OF ;) or u have done a beta test or something XD

  • The Earth is an egg not a disc!

  • its a solar eclipse when the moon blobks the sun, not the sun going behind earth, it does that every day/night

  • OHHHHHHHH HOW!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great.. Only 1 single thing: When you see it from that angle, the sun is smaller than Earth :)

  • an intro for a movie.. excellent

  • nice....but that earth is spinning way too fast!!! we would have like 5 minute days...hahaha pretty sweet effects though.

  • good job, but for one thing, you just ripped off the OF tutorial.

Also, the planet wouldn't be lit up at all (besides lights) because the side of the earth you're seeing is then night side. I'll try to do something like this today and show you what I mean.

  • and by "lights" I meant the city lights.

  • @TheFXGuy What do you mean by " you just ripped off the OF tutorial."

  • @CLBray Sorry, what I meant was that you just copied that Optical Flares tutorial but now it's obvious that either that wasn't Optical Flares or you're horrible at it (hopefully the first one). If this wasn't OF, then it was REALLY well made.

Why I thought that was because it looked almost exactly the same, which means good job if you used the build in Lens Flare.

  • @TheFXGuy Oh I'm not sure when OF came out but I think I did this before it did. Either way I didn't use optical flares so thanks I appreciate it :)

  • @CLBray Then why the hell does it look just like in the OF tutorial?

  • @TheFXGuy You are the definition of Douche-bag.....

  • @TheIvandrahgo That was when I was pretty immature about other peoples vids, and reading those comments, I agree with you. This is pretty good regardless.

  • the black halo around earth spoils the whole thing. a fully 3dimensional environment with volume and lens shaders applied would do a more convincing job, although the setup would take a lot more time and the calculations a lot, lot more.

  • Cool but if that is the sun it should be bigger and we should see it a little more even when its behind the sun.

  • heroes lol

  • five stars, but u should export this in square pixels, so it shouldn't be so stretched ;)

    also check out mine :

    watch?v=2dgUAtaFdYI

  • He just didn't export to 16:9, but to 4:3

  • sweet!

  • Thank you =)
