acrylic powder can be used on natural nails right? or is it only safe if you have acrylic nails?

I can relate, when I started I also used some of those products, from revlon, kiss and other kits sold at walmart, and the ones from ebay, Hong Kong, yes the quality of those products are low and can be the problem. they look kinda cloudy right :P

Try ezflow or IBD, is a great brand and cheaper than other salon brands,another cheap brand is supernails, but I havent tried this one, so can really tell, but I seen videos of other nail gurus and it looks great. check this buynails . com

I got the red glitter dots from ebay a long time ago, cant find the seller :( it was in hong kong, but I see there are lots of them =)

@makeupbymikab Thank you glad you like them some of the most important items you will need are -clear acrylic powder - a good brush made with real hair (the acrylic sticks to the brushes with fake bristles) -monomer (nail liquid) -Files or drill -buffer/ buffing block/ buffing sponge - primer -brush cleaning liquid (very important to keep your brush in top working condiions) -nail tips -nail glue ( I use ibd and love it) - a couple of fake fingers to practice... ugh running out of space

Dont know the brand, they are just regular brushes I got from a small local beauty supply. All there is on the handle is that they were made in the US, Kolinsky and the size =).

yes the do, thats the beauty of using a uv sealer, is very strong, it keeps it shine even when accidentally you drop alcohol, monomer, acetone, bleach, detergent, etc on them :), nails dont turn yellow, and creates the perfect seal for acrylic or nail polish. THe bad part is that it needs to be file off if you wanna remove it, acetone wont do anything to it =(.

Yes acrylic powders, and monomer (nail liquid), sometimes I mix a little acetone into the monomer, because depending on the room temperature, the acrylic can be a little runny, and acetone helps it stay in place, but it does dry faster.

Thank you, glad you like it, and the blue glitter dots, look even better in person, as the light hits them, they shine and look pink, blue, green, yellow...very pretty.

About the liquid to make the 3d designs, I use regular monomer, I have a few different brand, some better than others, for some brands I do need to use a little acetone, because without it the acrylic is very runny, for the cheapest brands, I dont need to use the acetone. It just a matter of testing a little =).
