  • Dir En Grey baby <3

  • NO DIR EN GREY=DISLIKE

  • 10 years and Dir en grey!!! I might have exploded from the pure awesomeness!

  • Personally, if you put all the metal bands that are American together and compare them to Dir En Grey ... they are nothing . . . NOTHING compared to Diru. Sure they got a couple of the same basics like a metal sound coming from a guitar, someone screaming Bloody Mary to their fans, and a dark persona about them on stage but the content and music is second to run when it comes down to Dir En Grey. Just listen to these American MetalRock bands' so called music and then Dir En Grey's art.

  • @HetaliaRyo I do listen to these bands music, and personally I think you're dead wrong. Deftones alone is better than Dir En Grey. It's nice that you like them and all, that's fine, but don't make them out to be better than everyone else.

  • @NULLcHiLD27 Yes. Yes. I do. I also respect everyone's opinion too (like yours). I was just saying .... I still do not think they are good enough...

  • Such great bands. :/ I wish I went to one of there shows.

  • DIR EN GREY!?!?!? ZOMG <3 woow i wish i was there DX i love all the bands that were up there rah.

  • Deftones! +Diru my favorite bandsss

  • Deftines for sure!

  • deftones are the best

  • DIR EN GREY FUCKING RULEZ !

  • god bless you chi

  • OMFG DIR EN GREY!!!

  • All Hope Is Gone was NOT as good as Iowa... and Dir En Grey is fucking awesome!!!!! Kyo is a hell of a live performer!!!

  • @reikjo all hope is gone is good in its own right, and iowa was their weird album.

  • dir en grey owned everybody there. imo.

  • I frown at the lack of Dir en grey in this video.

  • I didnt say any of that fuckin hell. The mate that told me about Dir is into death metal but he TOLD me about them. And I never said all hope is gone sucked, it kicks Iowa's ass.

  • Excuse me?

  • I have on my FVT Diru shirt right now. ;D BESTTT!

  • I only like one dir en grey song...obscure, just because a mate of mine is really into death metal and told me about it....dir en grey is very unknown, especially compared to korn who i like alot and i love stone sour too. Btw, oi randomnator, i bought all hope is gone on the first day of release, there were shitloads stocked...how the fuck did it top the charts? Wat was it right above lady gaga or sumthin? Maybe the metal charts but not the mainstream dude...no metal there..just techno shit!

  • kill yourself

  • Diru isn't death metal :\ BTW All Hope Is Gone was a good album imo... I don't get why everyone says it sucked, Slipknot will always be good.

  • Hope Chi gets better, poor guy is still in a coma

  • dir en grey performed on the same stage as korn. if we cant say they've made it now then when can we. i'm glad they aren't visual anymore, honestly i think they're doing the right thing

  • The whole Visual genre is really about indies. The more hardcore visual a band is, the more they're trying to get attention because they haven't produced a grounds for themselves to be noticed otherwise (yet). Most bands who start visual and then become very popular generally lose their more outlandish looks, and tone them into something more 'rock-refined'. It just marks them as not /having/ to dress like that to attract the attention they need(ed).

  • i find myself using the phrase 'thats what i meant' too many times now a days...-_-. well, i never was too good with words. lol

  • damnit, i hope chi cheng comes back

  • Why did they put Diru in the title, I saw no Diru.

  • I give some serious love to Dir en Grey. Musicians who sing in Japanese trying to make their way in America and develop more fans here. If you don't like their music, you at least need to respect the fact that they got enough balls to move out of their normal settings and jump into something totally different. Any musicians who can go that far has my respect and support.

  • That's what Im Talking about

  • its funny you say their only trying to move to america... there is a bigger fan base of metal in countries such as japan and germany, and for example down in australia, slipknots new album all hope is gone toped the charts!

the world does NOT revolve around america!

but the points you make a valid.

  • Actually in Japan, Pop is more popular than any other genre. Rock isn't very popular there.

  • rock?? im talking metal, there more of a metal fan base there, then many western countries...

  • Metal isn't very popular there either. Pop is the most popular genre there, most people in Japan haven't even heard of Dir en grey unless they've been a fan since the beginning when they were VK.

  • yeah Dir En Grey might not be very famous there. But randomnator is right.. theres a huuge population of metal fans

  • hell yea

  • YOU SUCK MAN

  • ur right

  • I've listened to Korn since their first release, but i'm also a die hard Dir en Grey fan. Both bring something special to their shows and also the music, which is why I enjoy them both.

  • Badjaboy told me he's EMO! How shameful..I feel like cutting him!

  • Fuckin KORN sucks monkey-balls. Deftones WAS at one point in history good. Slipknot is always alright. Dir en Grey is my fave though. No offense to any fan, 'cept for KORN fans. Blllllllaaaaah

  • Dir en grey FTW!!!!!!^0^

  • Dir En Grey Was AWESOME DUDE!!!!>666

  • Dir en grey just plain pwns.

  • I did not mean 2 offend any1 by accidentally typing Chi Cheng's name the wrong way. I do have respect 4 the Deftones, they r pretty cool. However, I just happen 2 like dir en grey better and I do not want anyone posting any shitty comments about my posts, b/c I am entitled 2 my own thoughts, just like every1 else who post up here.

  • it isnt a song shitface.

  • Hell yeah, Stone Sour! Dir En Grey, and Korn!!! 3 of the best F***ing bands out there.

  • The deftones' bassist look like he didn't wash himself for one week XD

  • No, their bassist looks JUST like a mixture of Chich and Chung lol.

  • all good bands deftones =]

  • My comment there was a reply to boredsun on the 2nd comment page. I thought I'd hit the reply button but obviously I didn't...

  • mother FUCKERS DIDENT EVEN SAY DIR EN GREY ONCE!!!!!!!

  • they did.

  • who cares??

    obviusly all the fans do

    the millions of fans worldwide

your just the one that isnt into it

  • thats cuz nobody had the respect to welcome them

  • they were booed at several shows, all that can be named... but they had a fan base that rivals that of other bands at each show.. I should know, I went to about 8 FVT shows for work. Atreyu was booed at several of the shows on the most recent tour, does that mean they suck to their fans? no. I remember one shoe, where Stone Sour was booed by a pretty decent size section..

  • Fuck You

  • No they didn't

  • No, that's still disrespect.

Respect is letting them play without complaining; waiting patiently for the next band to come on.

  • what is up with some of the diru fans seriously

    i love diru

but i don't moan about ergh disrespect ohh everyone likes them but you don't

who cares who likes them it's their opinion

    like yours

so just shut up and deal with the fact people don't like your favorite band. their one of my favorites but you just have to deal with it ffs.

  • never really cared for stone whatever, deftones i do like, korn is eiffy, some good and some really horrible stuff they crank up, ehhh the whole family values thing, never went to em, but the one tour that seemed ok at the time was, korn, rob zombie, rammstein and i forget the other band oh yeah that forgotton and hopefully best forgotton band limp dick

  • DIR EN GREY FUCKING OWNS! DIE HATERS!

  • oh and if you dont like dir en grey..listen to these songs:

    Obscure

    Repetition of Hatred

    Agitated Screams of Maggots

    Fatal Believer

    Grief

    The Deeped Vileness

  • Dir en grey Rules! I like them waaaaay better then Korn and Deftones... Marrow of abone is a fucking awesome album!

  • i think people aren't giving DIR EN GREY a chance to EVOLVE, GOD DAMIT i dont get people say Dir en grey are becomeing "americanized" i hate that, i personally think Dir en grey are maturing perectly and THE MARROW OF A BONE couldn't have come out any better, please for people who are saying shit like "DIR EN GREY ARE SHIT NOW" STOP! because thier growing now! god thier in thier 30's! they have to grow, and you have to let them!

  • nicely said ^-^

  • WTF!?!?!?!?!

  • FUCK YOU!

  • fuck you

  • mana dir en grey nya????

  • They should have had some of Deg's members talking as well ._."

  • Dozing Green is coming out next month and I've got my fingers crossed. I didn't care for Marrow and Withering was alright. I hope DZ is better than Marrow. I am saying this as a fan who has heard them since their debut year. I do listen to english artistes and I do like progressive rock, however despite the fact diru DOES MAKE wonderful music, they have lost themselves in it.

  • All their albums are amazing! What's wrong with u!

  • where'd dir en grey go?

did any one see any dir en grey?

  • People that argue about dir en greys change of music and how much they suck now and how much they're better now are just the biggest posers ever, does it fucking matter? just love the music.

  • I don't mean 2 sound bitchy, but this vid is called stone sour, deftones, and dir en grey talk korn's family values, and it doesn't even show Dir en grey members talking. It just features Corey and Chiang I think his name is, talking about the tour. I thought I was going 2 c them ask Dir en Grey about the tour, and have someone translate the questions 4 them. Or is it shown n another vid?

  • you want her to have respect for the musicians you like. so do you please.

  • So she didn't get that name right no need to say things that arn't true. Cause Dir En Grey OWNS HARD! Reason I like J-Rock more than other rock (wich I do really like but J-Rock I think is the best) is cause J-Rockers makes such uniqe music.

  • yes they do

  • i agree they should play older stuff buttttt the marrow of a bone is nowhere near sucking, but it is also not their best album

  • dude, then stick with the DVDs and the old albums, don't go to their tour because their songs suck now (in your opinion)

  • I like their new stuff. But come on think, the point of a tour is to promote the NEW album, why would they play old stuff? If you don't like it don't go!

  • Damn otakus... anyway, Dir en grey r0x, as well as the marrow of a bone (by far their best album imo)

  • Uh, ok.

  • i actually didnt hate the marrow of a bone like everyone i let listen to it, i admit its not as good as their old stuff but i am always critized by people who no longer like dir en grey because of their new album or they just dont like their new album.they say its stupid to be supporting or liking the new album.I personility am always looking foward to new dir en grey and whatever it is that they come up with in the future^_^

  • i actually didn hate the marrow of a bine like everyone i let listen to it. i admit its nothing compared to their stuff but i still like it alot.i always get critized for supporting dir en grey in whatever it is the decied to do next, but no matter what i am always looking foward to new dir en grey^_^

  • The first time I heard the Marrow of the Bone CD it seemed kinda noisy and unremarkable, but the more I listened to it, the more the songs grew on me. Funny how that happens with Diru's stuff.

I know what you mean about supporting them in whatever they do. Music is obviously their passion as much as it is their job. If they didn't keeping changing and moving forward, I'm not sure they'd still be happy in their work.

  • corey owns.
