thank you so much! But every time I give my puppy a bath it tries to get out and makes a mess everywhere. I feel sorry for my puppy sometimes.... it starts whining and shivering... what do I do?

@kgirl3578 If your puppy tries to get out of the bath because he doesn't like water, try putting him in very shallow water to start, for just a short time, praise him and give him treats. You can slowly increase the time, the sprayer or whatever you use to get him wet. Of course the temperature of the water needs to be just warm, not too hot or too cold. If you do this consistently and firmly, he should get used to it. Good Luck!

@xiiaozhuuaii You can use a damp washcloth to wipe a puppy's face. Never get shampoo in their eyes! There are special cleaners for ears and if your dog has tear stains. But a good shampoo will do the rest for you.

i clean my jack russel every week cuz she gets so dirty but i dont use shampoo just water and then put a lil bit of baby powder so she smells nice

@alohagirrl Labs have a short coat and are pretty low maintenance like BarrelRacinLuv said, but they do shed at certain times of the year. A good brushing once in awhile will help. Some of our dogs don't even mind being vacuumed :) They make special vacuums for pets, it probably feels pretty good!

can we use normal shampoo like human shampoo or do we have to use the special dog shampoo i just got a small jack russel and i think it needs a bath it smells really bad please answer back as soon as possible

@mnm477 Hi! congratulations on your new dog! If he needs a bath now, use what you have on hand but keep it away from his face. Baby shampoo is ok. for regular use, we recommend shampoo specifically made for dogs, like the one we use. You can certainly wipe the pup's face off, and there are special cleaners to use in their ears. It's a good idea to clean their ears regularly, especially if they play outside alot or go swimming. Most ear cleaners have alcohol as an ingredient, and that can sting. So we use a natural ear cleaner from Life's Abundance; it does not contain alcohol, the pups don't mind it, and it does a great job!-Whispering Pines Farm

u CAN wash a puppies face but never get it in there eys ears or nose and always use a speisial fase soap for puppies
