well one bad book out of 3 bought fifty cents a piece ain't bad. I haven't actually read it, so hold on. I'm just not interested in football or wines, so I don't expect a riveting plot that I normally get from Grisham's writing. This sounds like hard luck story about a guy making it through whatever. OK if thats what you want, but I'd rather have his usual legal thriller and thought provoking writing. Too bad he didn't do 1 of those set in italy to write off his vacation,nice change off memphis.

it's funny out of all the books i read and enjoy this one just hit the spot. one of my favorites. when i finished it i was actualy quite disapointed not because of the story or the ending, but just because it ended. wish it was longer great book!

Great book. It is not too much football and it is not too much food and wine. It fits perfectly in the middle. =]

I can't believe you said he's a genius. lol- my husband and I love, love, LOVE John Grisham and every time one of us finishes his new book we shake our heads in amazement and say "He's a genius!" So I cracked up when I read your comment. :) He's my favorite too!
