My father’s uncle is an etymologist and studies ancient manuscripts. The timeline of history is WELL SUPPORTED by the documents and the evolution of languages. Interesting new theory or part of the new, media friendly, attack on western culture? You decide. I would think the 'Dark Ages' is certainly open to investigation and redefinition, but the physical remnants of the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans are pretty tough to explain away with 'historic revisionism' in the 15th century. Looks more like a sensationalis book plug than anything else.

The Roman and Egyptian artefacts are IMPOSSIBLE to describe with current chronology, because 4000-2000 years is an unfathomably long time. Every Roman building would have collapsed long ago from structural wear if they were that old. More realistic is to assume that no Roman building is older than around 1000 years, and no mid-dynasty Egyptian artefact older than around 1500 years.
