Not necessarily. There has been a Porsche 911 GT1 sponsored by GT in 1998 and its no where to be found in Gran Turismo.

but gt have to beat fm and pgr and these games have the best supercars,graphic....
so gran turismo should get a better cars:like lambo,porsche,maserati and maybe bugatti(but still gt have the best gameplay for all racing games)
