I have an idea for you! The movie Sherlock Holmes has a gothic and dark feel to it that I think you would enjoy drawing from. And I would really like to see a painting cause it's my fav movie.

Really, you're amazing!! I've been searching for some inspiration on youtube and I've probably watched five of your videos one after the other today. :) I absolutely love how you stick to your own unique style. I can't afford to go to art school so I'm trying to do the self taught route, as I do have some natural talent, and I just want to thank you for such great instructional videos. :D

BTW, if you don't mind me asking, where do you get art prints made?

on what do you paint the background ?

This is amazing. I have to admit though that I liked the draft better... The girl looks nothing like Marion Cotillard (by the way - why didn't you draw the mole on her forehead? that's one of her best features :) ) but anyway, it's a great piece :)

@LiriWho Hi- thanks for your comments. Actually a lot of times I like my sketch better than the final, but that's how it goes sometimes. Other times it's the opposite. Not sure I agree that it looks NOTHING like her- but an accurate realistic portrait- certainly not. Never the less I enjoyed the overall end result and it sold quickly on Ebay so I'm happy. ^_^
