  • Beautiful!

  • Is there a copy of the Irish words to this available?

  • Fantastic! amazing voice! Why can't the silly american druid organizations use this kind of music instead of that embarrassing hippy music they use?

  • this is very moving!! Beautiful!!

  • Oaks attract lightning more than any other trees, the fire from the oaks was an important source of fire in ancient times, hence Bride being a revered as a "goddess of the fire hearth" as she is the fiery arrow that brought fire to the hearth, within a sanctuary of "oaks" that attracts fire to it.

  • Bride, pronounced either "breed" or "breet" common in our area of Ireland too, "breeda" is perhaps more Lough and Monaghan. All is shorthand for "Brideod na Seagáid, also spelled in different ways" for the "fiery arrow" - as there was no ancient word for lightning.

  • Bride is the scottish name for the Goddess Brigid coloradocelt

  • happy st. saint bridget's day....first day of spring too!

  • Does anyone know if "Bríde" is actually lenited according to grammer? She seems to sing "Bríde" not "Bhríde"?

  • Merry Christmas 2008 for all fo us !
