I was listening to the soundtrack of The Island when I said to myself, Wait a Minute! I Know This! And hey I really did know this. Avatar... Great Movie. Saw it 15 times. Sounds like a lot but most of it was from watching it in theaters and that was only because none of my friends had seen it and they couldn't see it at the same time so since they were paying I said what the hell? Anyway, saw it the first time in I-Max, then with my friends in 3-D, then my bro got Blu-ray, then bought in 2-D, ha

I never understand all the hype about Avatar...i think it's a mediocre movie with exagerrated techniques that LOTR has used almost a decade earlier, and unlike Titanic's, i think James Horner's Avatar score was also mediocre. And by the way, My Name Is Lincoln says it all...Lincoln Six Echo from Michael Bay's The Island.

No, he hasnt allready made it. hes just written out the basic storylines of what he wants to do. but hows he gunna do it if were ripping the movie off by watching it for free. also defeats how good the movie is, unless you have an imax computer screen..hah. not 12 years to think it out. he thought it out in less than a year, he just had to wait 10 for technology to catch up to where he wanted to be. 2 years to shoot. 2 years to make cgi. something like 56 hours spent on each take for cgi. amazin

What makes the CGI different in Avatar is that it's down over actual acting as opposed to where most movies are 100 percent CGI in Avatar, the CGI is combined with real humans.. Even the helicopters you see are real and most of the other planes are too.

James Cameron already told he's going to make a sequel, thats why he spend 12 years to think it all out, and spend over 450 miljoen to MAKE te movie, and another 50 Marketing. i agree with you it would ruin it a bit, but still curious to what theme the next movie going to be, another invasion would be boring. So,,, lets wait till Cameron shows a new movie of his wonderfull world of Pandora. And i dont think the story is crap. cool effects.
