@mnbfavor dont u know by now madden's ratings are all over the place and inconsistent? lol. vernon davis ran a 4.3 and he's slower than dez bryant who ran a 4.5. rob housler, 3rd string TE for the cardinals ran a 4.4, and his speed is rated about the same as mike thomas of the jags who ran a 4.30.

Tim Hightower had better win that race, because speed and agility is his game. Beanie Wells is about vision, balance, and power. He's not going to break any 70 yarders.

It really didn't seem like Hightower was trying. You can see him look over to Wells a couple of times during the run. If he had maintained focus he would have smoked Wells.

@shottahboyslim I can thnk of a thousand times to when a played has put up a better or worse (usually a worse) 40 yard time than the in game speed speed shows. But I don't know why it's different. I mean here they don't even have any equipment on so they should be faster.

I'm talking about those plays up the A gap that go for 30+ yards with no cut moves involved (think of the play Tim Hightower had against the Saints in the play-offs a couple seasons ago. Plays that are just like the 40 yard yard dash... plays that only show the trait of a strait line player.

hightower used to play tough... not really sure what happened to him. needs to go back to his rookie roots. beanie is straight beast-mode... when not injured. they both got some serious problems holding on to the ball. coach should do to them like like coach did to D. Jefferson in The Program. anyone else returns the ball to the coach, will be hell to pay.
