HELP! when i try to use the mastering tool kit all my recorded tracks switch off. So there's nothing to master or record onto 11/12 mastering track and i can't switch my recorded tracks on in mastering mode. Very frustrating!!
So I just got this and when I tried to write a song to a disc. An error came up saying "data too short", Its about a 3 minute song so I dont understand what im doing wrong. Anyone know what I should do??
I phoned Roland in Wales and they sent me one free, should have been £10.00 but got it free when I stressed I had just spent nearly £700 for one and it should be part of the package.....great machine tho
I may not have any interesting advice for you. I just run a line from the headphone output (mono) into my machine just like a guitar during jams, with the volume levels at about 50 so there's no peaking.
For real quality recording, use the 2 L/R outputs.
As far as other settings, I find that the e-drums sound like being in a perfect studio environment with a perfect drum tech. The sound you get is pretty close to ideal.
Im having a problem with my "data being to short" to burn to a CD. Does any have any suggestions as to what tot do so i may burn my songs that are having this trouble?
saliarmy if you are recording, get yourself the Boss 880 Drum machine. I have the 1200br and the 880 drum machine and it's really all I need to lay down the drum tracks.
I've used this machine for 2 years and I absolutely love it to death. I've recorded an entire independant CD on this, and I have gotten great results.
I want to record vocals through my BR1200, as I'm guessing it would be a better conduit than my Edirol FA-66 audio interface, which records vocals much too quietly when used on its own. I basically want to record vocals overtop an already mixed down instrumental.. the easiest way for me to do this would be to use the computer software I'm familiar with, having the BR1200 as an input that records to the software. Is that possible?
Any voice effects ,backing harmony, multi voice effects ? Please any-one . I want to guitar AND SING

I love the BR-=1200 - been using this little workhorse since 2006, and NO problems at all. I record a lot of songs! 43 albums in 43 months!

How do u eliminate the buzzing sound when your electric guitar is plugged in.

What kind of monitors are you using? I just got one and could use some help on picking a set.
I've heard people have had problems with the mix sounding good. Burning a CD, but when they stick it in the car or a CD player it sounds like garbage.
Thanks for your help.

The drum and bass programming functions are a NIGHTMARE.
Do yourself a favor and buy an electronic drum set, they sound fantastic.
That's my set up. E-drums and the BR1600

That said, I sometimes put on reverb.

cheers.
so you use the headphones socket instead of the usual inputs at the top of the machine? sure i'll just keep experimenting with it.
