  • im glad nothing ever came out from him in his iron maiden days in 1975 ,no wonder why he was fired, from maiden.poor guy but this music its totally forgotten ,me defenitly id feel embarrased if i buy this record.

  • @bengativo6 You are right my friend, Paul was far too good for Maiden at the time and Wildfires music is too sophisticated for them...no need to feel embaressed!

  • @Weaponx58 you are so right ,but yes maybe you dont feel embarrased,i would sorry i think i would feel ashamed to show this to my friends thats me ,we all may have something on common ,but also disagreements too.

  • @bengativo6 I know Paul personally. He is a great bloke. Paul now sings great for his new band Crimson Lake! If you heard Paul now you would love him. Its just bad luck he didn't stay in Maiden and thats what Paul said. Paul is one of the greatest blokes I've ever met and I'm sure he's happy with what he has done!

  • Emerson, Lake and Palmer did it a lot better a lot earlier.

  • A bit cheesy, though.

Singing this song and turning it into a "Rock Anthem"?

And not doing it very well....

  • I wouldn't say it was cheesy, the arrangement is very different and the band has augmented a classical piece in there as well:)

  • This is a great live performance!!

  • Id like this song at my Funeral, well we wont all live forever.

    Especially Dec21 2112 Lol.

  • Check out 'Marino and the band' they were on just before Wildfire and they started the show with pure Rock & Roll class!

  • Good band, i want this song at me Funeral,as my coffin goes in.

As my Coffin comes out, i want creep by G4.

  • Yes. but was not credited. Like Thunderstick from Samson (ex Iron Maiden) write the intro from "The Ides of March" from Kilers album... was not credited.

  • Also, Bruce Bisland on Drums (now with Sweet) Jeff Summers, Jeff Brown & Martin Bushell, Steve Glover (Statetrooper)

  • Paul Mario Day is a excelent vocalist, recorded 4 excelents albums:

    More - Warhead 1981

Wildfire - Brute Force and Ignorance and Summer Lightning

Sweet - Live at the Marquee.

And write the song Strange World from first Iron Maiden album.

One of the best heavy metal's voice from all times. Is not valued enough...

One of the best heavy metal's voice

  • Yes, Paul was in Maiden prior to D'anno. they went back to a similar voice with Bruce later of course...

  • Agin, thanx 4 taking time out to comment.

  • The memories keep flooding back. i worked for this lot before the keyboard player joined. They didn't need him. Gary Barden stole the band from Paul, which prompted him to go to Australia with the Sweet, where he still resides. Good on ya mate. Sometimes we know when we are better off....Loopy
