I have this scar on near my left knee that I got from falling off a spinning chair and whacking my knee on a nearby vaccum. It's not that large of a scar, but it's fun to tell the story.
I just joined up in 2011, because of a quark song. I broke my right food in high school aerobics class, I have a scar on right pinkie from improperly opening a can of green beans, and I've never had surgery.
Gall Bladder was removed sometime in... 2k6? Or maybe 2k7. I don't remember. years ago. It didn't take me nearly so long to recover as it's taking John. Then again I was/am something like a decade younger than he is. That might have something to do with it.

You call those pithy little things surgeries, hank? It's not a real surgery unless you have one or more organs removed. I had my gall bladder, doudenum and most of my pancreas removed due to an auto-immune disease that was mis diagnosed as cancer. Fun times.
My only cool injury/scar is on my right cheek. I got it when I fell on my bedpost while jumping on the bed. But it turned into a dimple, so I'm okay with it. :)
i have a scar from an explosion in an illegal pyrotechnics lab that i caused and i'm lucky i'm not dead and the scar i did get was small enough to blame on compulsive scratching.
Thankfully no surgeries :D (to the other questions, in ascending order: I have an inch-long scar from where a car door sliced my leg open [the door opened into me while I was doing 20 on my bike] and I once fractured my distil radius because a 3 year old skier cut me off and I caught my toe edge because I went with my gut... stupid gut.)
Now, seeing that I am watching this in 2011, I feel obligated to tell a story about my 21 surgeries since I've seen every video up to this point. Yes, I've had 21 surgeries for two bilateral problems (club feet and hip dysplasia). My first surgery was at nine weeks old, and the most recent one was June 21st, 2011. This past November I turned 17. Obviously, there MUST be worse stories than mine, but John and Hank, if you happen to read this, idftba (my license plate! Yes, I can drive now! Yay!)
I have a scar on my inner part of my elbow that was inflicted by the talon of a great horned owl...no joke. Also I was not being mean to the owl, don't worry, she's fine :)
The answer to all of those questions is that when I was in grade 7 I tripped and broke both the bones in my left arm. I had to have surgery to put them back in place (2 titanium plates and about 12 screws), therefore I have two scars and those two broken bones.
I've also broken my nose a couple of times, a few toes.. and of course I have other scars but who doesn't, really :P

Ive got this nasty genetic thing where the tissue that should be keeping my calf muscle in place is not formed correctly i have like a half a golf ball looking thing under my skin that is my calf muscle to fix it they would have to totally cut all the tissue and then reattach it :| im having one done at a time so at least i have crutches instead of a weelchair :) the scar is from my ankle to my knee its awsome!
I literally broke my ankle chasing a bubble when i was little. Anyway when the docter asked me what happened, i decided that it was smart to say "Oh i was chasing a bubble at my friend's."
Another time in my life i almost broke a bone when biking with my friend through the woods, and he yelled slow down, theres a stump coming up. he was infront of me so i couldnt see and hear, yelling "What?" i hit the stump flying in the air about 6 feet from what i remember. i luckily fell in a pile of leaves
my sister was in a car crash- and similiar to how hank saw his bone- she saw her WHOLE ARM BONE! she had a skin graph, and her arm is now home to two tomato looking lumps of skin. a teacher told her "touch your thigh skin" she touched her arm. xxxx
I just had a tumor removed from my left foot. It was quite painful. I'm having a very very hard time walking because it is on the bottom of my foot and, due to another issue, I can't use crutches. It is hard to get around but, at least now I have a genuine excuse to sit on my butt all day and watch Vlogbrother's videos. :D
I have a scare on my ankle from camp one year, when I rode a bike I Borrowed from the camp down a slope that was probably like 60 degrees, (I may be exaggerating), and I was going way to fast and hit some rocks and flipped into a ditch that was taller than I am, (which I later found out was much bigger than just a ditch), and was caught by a bush. It was both hardcore and hilarious, and my only regret is that I didn't have a camera so I could see how funny it was from a third person perspective.

I was cutting a circle of card out with a scalpel type thing and my hand slipped and I sliced a couple centimetres of skin open on my finger :/ Still got the scar from that

I got this lighting bolt scar on my forehead. My aunt and uncle say I got it in a car crash, but I was informed by Hagrid that I defeated a dark wizard when I was one year old. Weird, huh?

i have two scars on my left elbow from when i was 6 and i decided it was a great idea to jump out of the back of a parked pick up truck. after 10 minutes of crying and screaming my mom took me to the hospital and i got surgery on it to fix it.
yeah a scar, broken bone, and a surgery. triple threat :D
I've broken my clavicle three times: once on my right and twice on my left. The first (the one on my right) was from disobeying the safety regulations on a ride, the second was when my shoulder caught against the side of a water slide at full speed and snapped back, and the third was when my friends dogpiled me in middle school. There are still bumps, two on my left and one on my right, because the bone doesn't reform exactly.
I guess the lesson is: safety regulations are there for a reason.

@sethboy66 The cut in the inflated ballon inside me didn't feel near as invasive as the gaping slash across my belly. We had to have an emergency cesarian, the docs weren't real careful about it. Sorry for the confusion!
I had a surgery for my wisdom teeth to get pulled out. Being conscious for that is not fun when your mouth is numb and you've very screamish. I also had a nose straightening surgery after I broke my nose where a nail was essentially stuck up my nose and hit a few times. This did nothing.
Sadly I am a recent subscriber, but I will answer anyway. No broken bones despite years of gymnastics, I have a scar on my forehead from when I was a child. I was inside a PVC pipe and plastic film cover playhouse and walked into the wall, which would have been fine if the film wall hadn't been against a real one. No surgery yet, but shortly (and I add this just for you hank) I will be having my colon out and a little spout fitted as per your song
I got a scar when a broken bone in my arm poked through the skin, and then I had to get a surgery to re-set the bone. I don't know for sure when I started watching but I guess with that story it doesn't really matter.
2007...I've had three eye surgeries when I was a kid. Only now do I wonder which eye got the double surgery. I mostly remember the games they gave me right before the anesthesia set in, the different methods by which the anesthesia set in, and what toys I got after each surgery.

there is a small acne-scar like mark in the middle of my forehead I got from when I was 5. my family and I were hiking and we were heading to the bathroom and I don't know how but I tripped and landed on a very sharp nail that went so deep into my head that it almost touched my skull. I got 2 stitches :)
very recently, but on scar on my knee, fell and sliced it open on a rock pointing straight up. we then proceeded to rip a piece of my friend's shorts off and keep going to our fort.
I've been watching since november 2007 (yes, I caught up on ALL the videos before december 31! I had a lot of free time back then) but have never had surgery... so I'll tell you about a scar. it's on the back of my right hand between my ring and pinky fingers. I was banging on my grandparents' door because my brother locked me out--ah, childhood--and smashed my hand through a glass pane. then I pulled it back out of the glass pane, driving the glass deeper into my wound. haha. :)
As far as surgeries go I've been pretty lucky. I've only had to go through one to get my wisdom teeth removed. I remember it being very painful because they had to explode my bottom teeth and remove some jaw bone to get the teeth out (because they had grown in sideways). T3's were my best friends back then.
I can't really remember how long I've been watching. I think its 2009.
I broke by color bone in third grade. I kicked a guy and he pushed me over. It hurt, alot. Then I got scolded by my teacher and then by my mother, and was sent to bed. The next morning my mom helped me get dressed and noticed that my arm was hanging weird and that my bone was completely severed.
Um generally you go to the fisio when you have neck spasms. And then take pain killers and muscle relaxants.
I broke my collar bone falling out of bed, my arm falling off my bike, and my leg falling off of a slide 8D I'm good at breaking things because my nerd induced lack of coordination is rather high!
Ive been watching since 08 but I subbed in '10. But as for a scar story I was at the park riding my bike when I was about 10. The sidewalk wasn't level so I fell off the bike, only the bike came with me and the handlebar jammed itself into my leg. I still have the scar from the stitches 8 years later. Oh, and the handlebar decided it was okay to stab me less than two inches away from... to put it nicely "that place."
two six inch scars on my ankle from the staples and stitches they gave me after i tore both my legiments, chipped off a piece of heel bone, and made my tibia and fibia bow out a little bit where they then gave me a 64 milimeter titanium screw in my leg.
2008... skar on my right leg... fell off my scooter and got stuck under a fence. tried to get up and i noticed my leg was bleeding.. alot. it was a straight cut. i look at it now and laugh....
Early 2008 and I have many many scars... One on my right shin because my brother threw a screw diver at me and it kinda sorta went into my leg... and I had to get stitches

2008 viewer... bad burn just above my left wrist is now a permanently dark red scar / mark... Never use hair straighteners while balancing on a pilates ball and then answer the phone. I'm not so smart for a nerdfighter...
This probably seems pretty lame given that this video was made in February and it's now October...but I wanted to say that I've been watching since 2007. I stopped for while cuz life happened...but I'm back and I'm trying to catch up on everything I've missed.
Anyways, I've had surgery done on my abdomen cuz my appendix burst and tried to kill me. That was fun.
2008:I have a scar on my leg from when I was 11 and I thought I was grown up and could shave my legs. I was sadly mistaken. I tried doing it without shaving cream and ended up with a ~1in scar in the shape of an L. Maturity fail.
2008. Scar(s): on my left. about 3-5 inches below my armpit, one inch to the left. Wjen I was born (C-Section), I was very premature, purple, and I got very very sick. I think it was a Staph Infection. I almost died. I have three scars from then, two on my neck, on on my chest. Docters tried to insert, several times, this tube into my neck, which failed, but it worked when the inserted it into my chest. I'm alive. Not a zombie Unicorn. just a 12 year old commenting on the is video. DFTBA

i have two scars on my left elbow from when i was 6 and i decided it was a great idea to jump out of the back of a parked pick up truck. after 10 minutes of crying and screaming my mom took me to the hospital and i got surgery on it to fix it.
yeah a scar, broken bone, and a surgery. triple threat :D

I've broken my clavicle three times: once on my right and twice on my left. The first (the one on my right) was from disobeying the safety regulations on a ride, the second was when my shoulder caught against the side of a water slide at full speed and snapped back, and the third was when my friends dogpiled me in middle school. There are still bumps, two on my left and one on my right, because the bone doesn't reform exactly.
I guess the lesson is: safety regulations are there for a reason.

I have a scar on my thumb from when I cut it with a saw in yr 5. It only bled for ages and I didn't go to hospital or anything. It was just a cut caused by a stupid mistake.

@sethboy66 The cut in the inflated ballon inside me didn't feel near as invasive as the gaping slash across my belly. We had to have an emergency cesarian, the docs weren't real careful about it. Sorry for the confusion!

I had a surgery for my wisdom teeth to get pulled out. Being conscious for that is not fun when your mouth is numb and you've very screamish. I also had a nose straightening surgery after I broke my nose where a nail was essentially stuck up my nose and hit a few times. This did nothing.

Sadly I am a recent subscriber, but I will answer anyway. No broken bones despite years of gymnastics, I have a scar on my forehead from when I was a child. I was inside a PVC pipe and plastic film cover playhouse and walked into the wall, which would have been fine if the film wall hadn't been against a real one. No surgery yet, but shortly (and I add this just for you hank) I will be having my colon out and a little spout fitted as per your song

I got a scar when a broken bone in my arm poked through the skin, and then I had to get a surgery to re-set the bone. I don't know for sure when I started watching but I guess with that story it doesn't really matter.

2007...I've had three eye surgeries when I was a kid. Only now do I wonder which eye got the double surgery. I mostly remember the games they gave me right before the anesthesia set in, the different methods by which the anesthesia set in, and what toys I got after each surgery.

i had a surgery for some teeth where the wisdom teeth were supposed to be yet i find out later that they I had no wisdom teeth. so i went through pain for really nothing at all.... and then a couple years later i broke my wrist while rollerblading.

there is a small acne-scar like mark in the middle of my forehead I got from when I was 5. my family and I were hiking and we were heading to the bathroom and I don't know how but I tripped and landed on a very sharp nail that went so deep into my head that it almost touched my skull. I got 2 stitches :)

I've been watching since november 2007 (yes, I caught up on ALL the videos before december 31! I had a lot of free time back then) but have never had surgery... so I'll tell you about a scar. it's on the back of my right hand between my ring and pinky fingers. I was banging on my grandparents' door because my brother locked me out--ah, childhood--and smashed my hand through a glass pane. then I pulled it back out of the glass pane, driving the glass deeper into my wound. haha. :)

As far as surgeries go I've been pretty lucky. I've only had to go through one to get my wisdom teeth removed. I remember it being very painful because they had to explode my bottom teeth and remove some jaw bone to get the teeth out (because they had grown in sideways). T3's were my best friends back then.

I can't really remember how long I've been watching. I think its 2009.
I broke by color bone in third grade. I kicked a guy and he pushed me over. It hurt, alot. Then I got scolded by my teacher and then by my mother, and was sent to bed. The next morning my mom helped me get dressed and noticed that my arm was hanging weird and that my bone was completely severed.
Um generally you go to the fisio when you have neck spasms. And then take pain killers and muscle relaxants.

Ive been watching since 08 but I subbed in '10. But as for a scar story I was at the park riding my bike when I was about 10. The sidewalk wasn't level so I fell off the bike, only the bike came with me and the handlebar jammed itself into my leg. I still have the scar from the stitches 8 years later. Oh, and the handlebar decided it was okay to stab me less than two inches away from... to put it nicely "that place."

two six inch scars on my ankle from the staples and stitches they gave me after i tore both my legiments, chipped off a piece of heel bone, and made my tibia and fibia bow out a little bit where they then gave me a 64 milimeter titanium screw in my leg.

Early 2008 and I have many many scars... One on my right shin because my brother threw a screw diver at me and it kinda sorta went into my leg... and I had to get stitches

This probably seems pretty lame given that this video was made in February and it's now October...but I wanted to say that I've been watching since 2007. I stopped for while cuz life happened...but I'm back and I'm trying to catch up on everything I've missed.
Anyways, I've had surgery done on my abdomen cuz my appendix burst and tried to kill me. That was fun.

2008:I have a scar on my leg from when I was 11 and I thought I was grown up and could shave my legs. I was sadly mistaken. I tried doing it without shaving cream and ended up with a ~1in scar in the shape of an L. Maturity fail.

2008. Scar(s): on my left. about 3-5 inches below my armpit, one inch to the left. Wjen I was born (C-Section), I was very premature, purple, and I got very very sick. I think it was a Staph Infection. I almost died. I have three scars from then, two on my neck, on on my chest. Docters tried to insert, several times, this tube into my neck, which failed, but it worked when the inserted it into my chest. I'm alive. Not a zombie Unicorn. just a 12 year old commenting on the is video. DFTBA
