If you only 12 years old it realy good work. But you must be more exaktly when you cuting in the case. I know when I did works like this when I was 13-14. I rushed to much and then it got uggly. Good work man!!
Who cares about the back of the G5 you idiots.. no one is ever gonna see it! Only time you need to see it is when plugging usb ports in or when you pull the case out and open it for repairs. Its GREAT. And 90% will never even do the mod and this kid was 12. You people are pathetic.
it's not just the outcome, but the way you seem to work, very organized and clear ideas... congratulations no matter what your geekbench result you get... ;)
Hey Good job man on the build, and the fact that your twelve at the time and doing this you can probably do some pretty amazing stuff when u grow up. I'm doing a similar with my g5, I'm stuck on the front switch though, and I'm trying to figure out whether to replace the switch entire with one that is compatible with the mobo or map out the prongs on the existing one and re solder the cables. your opinion will be greatly appreciated. Thx again for the vid, and get back o me soon ;)
Wow!, this is impressive. You have true skills, im good with computers too like you, and i was thinking of doing this, but dam, im afraid to do this lol. Im 17 and i was no where near this good when i was 12. Great video!!
@GhostlyNinja100 The whole point of modding a mac pro or g5 case is to build a mac for 1/2 the cost of Apple's sky-high prices while keeping the look of Apple's case design. There is absolutely NO REASON to pay $2500+ for an Apple when it has outdated hardware and lower performance than a custom-built Hackintosh that costs between $900-$1200 (depending on what parts you get and adding labor if someone else builds it for you).
Dude hats off to you. You are officially my HERO. Honestly you're 12, Im 22 and I'm kinda scared to do all the cuttin and stuff. Im a n00b when it comes to real mods like this. Honestly little dude you are awesome, and I was so excited about the vid, and then it goes dark.... aaawww i wanted to see the rest!
But na man awesome job, hopefully you've found the other missing footage and youll be able to share it with us.
Good stuff! This is one of the better videos out there showing the actual process. I'm currently doing a very similar G5 ATX mod. I opted not to use pop-rivets and hot glue, but then again mine has taken a few solid weeks.

Man, you didn´t realize what it is to have a Hackint0sh.
I built many of them and no one had looked so shitty like this.
This is bullshit. You are a loser . You cannot do such things if you don´t know how it works.
My Hackint0sh is much much better than yours. Sorry Loser

@GhostlyNinja100
1. This is not a Mac Pro case
2. This did not come with internal components
3. I have a 775 socket CPU, while the Mac Pro's have 771 or 1366 CPUs
4. Read the description
