  • oh my god that video sucks sorry but its explaining nothing! wow my math teacher teach better then that gosh do those kids even learn?? or do they make videos about math instead of actually doing it? Sad

  • @Monster8761

you should watch it again. and again. you'll get it. i BELIEVE IN YOU! :) some people just need to watch it more than others.

glad you like your math teacher. thats coo.

p.s. if you were an integer, you would be left of the zero. good luck in your math career, monster. get to the right of the zero. (lemme know if you get it).

  • too funny! sing it with me.

  • Can you write more verses that actually delve into the details of adding and subtracting, and the details of multiplying and dividing positive and negative numbers? This would be a huge service, because students have so much trouble with these.

  • you know. ive been teaching integers for 13 years, and have tried it all. if they can stick with chips/# line for adding and subtracting (changing subtraction to addition), and then memorizing the rules, they will get it. i have a 95% mastery level in 6th grade by doing this so they can kick some real butt in 7th and 8th. they have to know integers by 7th grade like breathing or they will fail. my 2 cents or was it -2 cents... lol...i kill me... a lil'.

  • @swordfishtbone Keep up the great work. Most of my high school freshmen had no skills with integers what so ever. The most common mistake was to ignore the negative sign and give an answer as if both number were positive. For example: given 5 + -8 they would reply 13, or sometimes -13. For anyone reading, the correct answer is: -3. Don't use your old habits. Use your new tools.

  • who need math

  • i watched this in my class the other day

  • The black guy is funny

  • You guys are awesome!

  • get an original name, son.

  • You "would have shot" all of them. How very BIG of you. A bunch of great middle school students doing something positive...this intimidates you sooo much as to see them as a threat? Huh. Wouldn't like to be u, son. So sad.

  • is it okay if i copy your song im kinda doing the same thing at school

  • for sure. we'd be flattered. its all in the name of math. hope youre having fun with it.

  • couldnt you just write a cool song? This kinda beat (hip hop/rap) is like ASS, id rather have my ABC's. That's reasonable.

remember you cant spell rap without crap

  • hope the video helped. you should listen to more hip hop. try some de la soul.

  • 'what a retarted song'

What a retarded comment from a young boy who cannot yet spell retarded.

  • Fun video! Thanks! I plan to use it to introduce integers to my 7th grade special ed. students.

  • go git em! :)

  • yes! mission accomplished. i teach 6th grade math and science in berkeley, ca. my club made this song. ill tell em you liked it. holla!

  • I'm in 6th grade and this song is really catchy to my class.

  • yeah! hope it helped a little... what grade are you in?

  • My math teacher showed it to my class when we were learning this.

  • shut the fuck up

  • nice touch joe... a classic trite response.

  • stupid.

  • yes u r.

  • my math teacher had kids one year who didnt get integers for anything so she told a story and then listened to a song that had a ton of stuff that sounded like her story so she typed up lyrics for her story and had the song "lightning crashes" playing so that her students would sing that song and everyone has had such an easy time after using that song that she never stoped well that and she says shes gonna stop but then she just feels bad so she keeps doing that song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol

  • Gosh -- you really make math fun!! Do you write these songs yourself??? Awesome. Just Awesome.

  • the students write and sing them.

  • funny
