you can adjust the frame rate so that each picture lasts longer than standard. i think we did this at 12 frames a second.

oooo you would be great at this! anything can be animated. things that can lay flat and slide around easily are easier to animate. software is a huge part. istopmotion made this very easy to do. it has the 'onion skin' feature which is helpful. good luck! ♥

I was just thinking about doing the old fashioned way pictures I didn't realize you used a program, Onion skin is that like a two layer thing that helps you remove your hands from the video, it's video not pictures.

no, i do it frame by frame. i move the candy, take a picture, move the candy, take a picture etc... so it is in fact the old fashion way. what the software does is takes all those 1 frame images and makes them all a uniform duration, for instance, 12 frames per second. I took 436 pictures to make this video. 436 frames at 12 frames per second makes 30 some second video. That's what the software does. Onion skin lets you see the picture you took before the current picture. That's all. :-)
