My fiance and I are getting married in May and he leaves in June...we'll be facing our 1st deployment shortly after being married. He's stationed in Hawaii right now while I'm in Virginia, and it's hard right now as it is, but I know the deployment is going to be even harder. He's going to Afghanistan, and we're not really sure for how long that he'll be gone...he's 19 and I'm 18 but our families support us a lot. God Bless past, present, future, and fallen soldiers and the silent ranks!

im going to miss him so much. im 16, yes i know im pretty young for this, but he has been my best friend for 4 years now so its going to be tough. : (

love has no age , be always there for your soldier , thats aythithing he need right now , we dont even realize it but we save theyr lifes out there just by standing on theyr said . be strong and God bless

@heartsmeanlove02 I know what you mean! I'm 16 also and my boyfriend's in the air force. He's in Cali at school then he goes to air force college in Colorado. It's definitely hard being away from him because I love him and I dont take what little time we have together for granted. It's so great to know that you have someone whos going through the same thing and we have to stand behind the girls like us

@heartsmeanlove02 I'm 18 and my fiance is 22. He just left for basic training at Fort Benning. Age is just a number when it comes to love. I've been told that I'm crazy and that there's no way we will last becsue we're so young and him being gone all the time. If you two really love each other then no about of time, distance, or bad comments from others can break it. Hang in there girl!

i can totally relate to you! my man is in iraq and he suppose to be gone for 9 months and now he will be gone for 12. im only 16 too and everyone says im too young for this but he is truely my soul mate.

im 16 too...my bf has joined...and this summer he will be deployed...its hard...but we have to stay strong for them. ive know cody since i was 9...and i absolutly love him. i know what your going through.

@cowboylover2543 Age really doesnt matter when it comes to love. My best friend is getting ready to leave to go to saudi arabia. Its to soon he just got home not to long ago. We use to date when we were younger and it hurts to know hes got to leave again. Ima need help getting through all of this. Thanks

I love this video I am a new army wife.. My husband deployed Aug 15, 2009 this is our first deployment right after we got married he got orders to go to afghanistan.. Great Video it made me cry

my boyfriend is in afghanistan at the moment and wont be home til august for 2 weeks! :'( .. i look at my calendar every day and cross the days off ! .. cry most days! but a phone call from him cheers me up ! .. even though it may be every so often ... he's on the frontline and i miss him sooo much !! i think about him and all the other soldiers serving in afghanistan .. and try my best to not watch the news ! :( ... well done guysss ! come home to all your loved ones safe!! :D xxxxxxx

My partner is out in Afganistan, and i'm currently 27 weeks pregnant with his little girl, i love this video. I cried the whole way through, i am so proud of him and all the men and women out there, God Bless every single one of them and every single women standing by there man/woman out there. I pray they all come home safely. And God Bless all the milatary children at home missing their daddy, i will soon have one of them. Brilliant video !!

I am an Air Force wife. My husband is getting ready to leave to Afghanistan. This is his second deployment and it made me giggle when I read the comment on turning the phone up because I DO THAT! To all of the other military wives, We are strong and our men count on us to keep things going. Please remember that you are not alone!
