This is arguably (yes, I argue with myself on this subject) my favourite Beatles track. Basically McCartney seemed to single-handedly invent power-pop with this track and it's rarely if at all been bettered. This sounds like a man who was high from his own talent and then finding out other people appreciated it and so spurring him on further. Simply amazing! As pop records go it will never get much better than this.

I noticed John, Paul, and George all married women from a higher social class than them the first time. John was maybe lower middle, but George and Paul grew up in housing projects. It's like saying that hot chocolate is better than coffee, one would normally think that they fall into the same category, but if you actually want to be INTELLIGENT about what you're saying then I suggest that you listen to both the bands' music and then you will realize that they really weren't the same.
