DMX didn't have Pac potential, DMX had DMX potential and 2pac had 2pac potential. I get your point but i disagree with people who say they sound alike cuz they don't. Now physically they resemble each other (bald heads, tatts, average height etc) but musically they sound nothing alike imo.
