The new afterburner setup was very taxing on the batteries. If you keep watching, the strobe lights slow down as he makes the pass. The problematic battery was elusive off the track since we use an external power source while testing at the shop, but after eliminating the uncommon variable (the shop battery pack), the onboard battery pack drained itself and through simple deductive reasoning we came to the conclusion that the batteries needed an upgrade.
