  • this is awesome, this album needs to be remixed NOW

  • There's a pop at 3:15 :(

  • Awesome!! i would sell my entire metallica collection for 1 complete "and justice for all" album with enhanced bass...

  • @adimifus, bass is perfectly balanced in this vid! Bass guitar helps "drive" heavy metal songs, and this is a perfect example. Listen to the verses of this song, first the original, then this vid, and tell me that the verses don't have a ton more forward momentum, groove, drive, punch, whatever you want to call it. Props!

  • @chicagokid82 I need this track dammit!!! SO bad no wonder I get so bored when I listen to this album!

  • HA ...And Justice for Jason. Love it.

  • The 2 dislikes are James and Kirk.

  • lol at the 2 dislikes being James and Lars. Lars is getting the lawyers out now.

  • fucking fuckity fuckyeah!~ MUCH BETTER.

  • Wow, I never knew how much of a difference the bass made until hearing this.

  • One of my favorite songs, now made even better.

  • THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!

  • I checked on Amazon.com and they have a Japan import i think it was, Remastered. But who knows if the Bass is fixed on it.

  • @Masterofreality888

It's better quality than the original, the bass is slightly audible, but only as much as it is on the original. It's more the sound quality being better, they didn't enhance the instruments.

  • those guys were dicks to jason and to turn the bass guitar what assholes thats one more reason they suck LONG LIVE MEGADETH!!!!!!!!!

  • @JJBLUES1975

    Rofl, what the fuck?

  • BRING IN THE BASS!

  • The 2 dislikes are James and Lars.

  • @supernoob72 Only because this makes Jason so badass.

  • @supernoob72 I want to thumbs up this, like, 50 times.

  • whos the 1 dislike?! probably someone who doesn't like metallicas' bass

  • @StAnarkyh Lars.

  • @augustuslxiii Lol he doesnt dislike the song, he just dislikes playing it

  • I dont understand how they could make it with so fuckin´ silent bass !

this enhanced version is not enough also ! we want it Louder -.-

cliff´s bass was really silent on studio records too :/

he totally pwned in fight fire with fire . i heard it first time in an enhanced remix -.-

  • 0:49-0:58.....eargasm

  • who's alison?

  • @KSRGUYW dude it says and justice for jasoon the all is just underneth it still.

  • This is my favorite enhanced bass And Justice For All song that you have uploaded.

  • and justice for jason rofl

  • Metallica should've made the AJFA album sound like this with Jason's excellent sounding bass!!

  • The greatest metal base player of all times is still Cliff Burton!!!!!!!

  • @Ejvil Charged with 100 Dollar fine 4 the double message

  • @Ejvil so?????

  • @Ejvil Far from it.

  • The greatest metal base player of all times is still Cliff Burton!!!!!!!

  • @Ejvil And for not spelling bass right. $200, cough it up.

  • AJFA is the way a proper thrash album should sound.

  • This is great they was assholes for turning Jason so low

  • hell yeah. well and justice for damien echols! hmm! he was hawt wen he was a teen

  • @adimifus can you download this?/is there a link to this? if so can u email me the link? my email is ilee776@yahoo.com

  • we all have t admit that trujillo is far more better than newsted and suits better the band but cliff was clearly the best of all just listen to pulling teeth, orion and call of ktulu

  • OH much better!!

jason newsted is much better than robert trujillo!!

  • @MasterMetallica010 not as good as Cliff (Rest in peice Cliff)

  • @frankisfunny2007 cliff is better than jason but jason is waaay better than robert (my opinion)

  • @MasterMetallica010 exactly, best bassists that played for Metallica, in my opinion: Cliff, Jason, Ron (first bassist of Metallica), and Robert

  • @frankisfunny2007 you but Ron before Rob and Ron didn't even do shit for the band....wow....you're brilliant, and obviously just a Trujillo hater.

  • @rocafella142 I'm not a Trujillo hater, I just think Metallica should have enhanced the bass for all 4 of the bassist, you have to admit now, without Ron, there wouldn't be Metallica

  • @rocafella142 Fuck Trujillo

  • @SomeYTchannel Um ok...fuck him? what has he done for me? was that comment suppose to break my heart or something?

  • @SomeYTchannel yeah ride.....o_0 go listen to the jonas brothers or sumthing

  • @MasterMetallica010 But how can you say he was good? T_T He didn't even play with them on anything!...Oh wait, maybe you saw them live with McGovney? ;O

  • @CliffBurton1990 dude jason played with metallica live for 14 years

  • @MasterMetallica010 In a technical manner, that doesn't mean he's really good. That just means he played for fourteen years. And Trujillo is probably as good as Jason, but, it's too difficult to compare their styles as they're so vastly different.

  • @CliffBurton1990 And Jason's style is vastly different to Cliff's but you still compare them, but that's probably because you're one of those "OMG CLIFF BURTON IS GOD EVEN THOUGH I WASN'T EVEN ALIVE WHEN HE WAS" kids.

  • @UncleCthulhu Yeah, they're quite different. I think Cliff had a bit more of a fill based thing when he played live, but on the album his work was kinda straight forward. He wasn't an album bassist, he was built for live I think. Albeit, I still love the guy and his work, I just think it's difficult for me to compare them. Since Jason had such an aggressive style and sound regardless of how he played. ;O

And thanks for that, I do love Cliff, but I know when to bite my tongue. ;P

  • It's hard to compare the too as well because Cliff being so beloved by James and Lars of course had much more artistic freedom, while Jason had much more of a shorter chain.... It's impossible to say one was better than the other as a player ( considering one played everything the other played ) But better as an all around musician is hard to say, not very similar composing styles, Cliff had much more of a "classical/rock" way, kind of like Randy Rhodes, where Jason seems more like a M Friedman

  • god bless guitar hero/rock band. if it werent for these games we would of probably never have heard any of the basslines in AJFA

this album version sounds really dry now ive made my own bass boosted version. it is a shame, AJFA is probably my favorite. and apart from the lack of bass is my favorite sounding metallica album

  • Remember folks: If it's not metal, it's not heavy.

this fucking song....makes fat people look skinny

  • AND JUSTICE FOR JASON RULES!!!!!!

  • I can hear the bass!

  • Oh yes, the bass.

  • Damn

  • IT SOUNDS SO MUCH HEAVIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hazing the bassist is fun except they should have done it for st. anger instead.

  • @GBeast2029 There was bass in St.Anger???

  • @darthsasuke554 bob rock played bass

  • @GBeast2029 you didnt get the joke :D

  • love this song

  • ...And Justice For Alison? xD

  • Lars sounds better if that is also possible

  • SOME FAG Missed THE LIKE BUTTON!!

  • They should release an edited version of the album entitled just that (...And Justice For Jason) I'd buy it. This song would melt my hand off if I tried to play it. Also, this show that Lars doesn't suck that bad.

  • 4:24

massive uncontrollable head banging will occur

  • The bass makes the shitty production overall sound much better. It finally adds some low end to some awesome geetars and tinny drums

  • @krtbossman It also lets most people realize how much better Jason was compared to Cliff, which is a good thing

  • @Steve128967 well, not musically no. Cliff was a musical Genius, Jason had the presence and aweosme back vocals

  • @krtbossman How the hell is a "genius"?

  • @Steve128967 what what what????Better than Cliff...try playing Cliff's bass tracks and Jasons...oh yeah and use your fingers!!

  • @Pavulan4ik I could do the discography of either with my fingers, and I could probably pull most of them off with two. Check mate?

  • @Steve128967 when I'll see u play fight fire with fire and ride the lightning.than I'll thgink of something!

  • this coulda been their best album if the bass was audible

  • @Metallideth1120 I can hear the bass quite well. Does this mean I'm crazy or is it audible? Even though Burton is the best, I must say sometimes his lines are less audible than Newsted's ones, also because in this kind of music if the bass is played with a pick it loses low tones, but may gain presence. That is the producer's fault.

  • @PietroRumenta its with enhanced bass so no you are not crazy lol...and i think he uses his fingers to play so it was the producers fault definitely

  • @Metallideth1120 Jason only used a pick. Cliff only used fingers. Robert plays 90% with fingers, 10% with pick prolly.

  • @ajrapps nah rob plays all fingers i think. at least thats what ive seen live

  • @skat4evr9 Yeah live he only plays fingers. In the studio he used a pick on All Nightmare Long and another one just to get a great tremelo tone or whatever. But he can also play those fast parts with 3 fingers live. He's extremely talented

  • @ajrapps hmmm. never knew that. thanks for tellin me ill have to look out for the pick sound on the newer stuff

  • @skat4evr9 Yeah, in the studio sometimes musicians will just change something up to make a perfect tone and gapless track, when you play live tehres more room for improv and mistakes are acceptable :)

  • @ajrapps I've seen playing with pick on live when he was in Black Label Society, and he wasn't able to, he looked like a beginner, I can say it because I've been studying for years Roger Glover's picking style. While with fingers he's very talented; however I really think he's got something wrong in his style, which allows him to suit with neither Ozzy Osbourne, nor Metallica (and Black Label society either). He's not a metal bassist, he's for funky. Listen to Infectious Grooves, his old band

  • @PietroRumenta That's not true, he's extremely talented in both metal and funk, pick or no pick. He's proven that on bass recording on death magnetic

  • @Metallideth1120 Hi Mate. Jason only uses a pick, even though I've seen using his fingers sometimes live, once even just because his pick fell and he was far from the mic to take a new one (you know, they usually stick the picks to he microphone supports). I stick my other picks to my the body of my guitars and of my basses when I play with my bands. I've never dropped any pick so far, but in case that happens, I'll be able to take a new one soon. However, I can play with fingers too

  • @PietroRumenta I can actually hear Cliff's equally as well as Newsted's riffs [besides this album]

  • @Kingddd333 You're right, I was talking about the different attach of the sound between finger playing and picking, I explaned myself pretty imprecisely. Anyway, they are both good bassists, despite all the bad things people say about Newsted, just because of a matter of love for Burton, which to me doesn't justify all that reasonless grudge and hate towards Jason, who's a great bassist. However I find a little more justified the hate for Robert Trujilo, who's great, but not for 'Tallica at all

  • @Metallideth1120 This was their best album even without bass!

  • @Metallideth1120 I believe that honor would go to RtL. Ajfa feels like they are getting all of the pent up energy out of their guitars and still dealing with tragedy in their own way. RtL is the perfect balance of raw thrash and pure soul put into every note and word. To each their own, though!

  • best remix i found so far... the bass is just right...

  • it's a shame the "One" enhanced bass didn't make it...was looking forward to hearing it with enhanced bass...you've made a bass player's day! ;o)

  • I'm praying for a remaster of this album some day

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit

You and me both. They really need to re-release this album with the bass turned up. This sounds awesome. Dyers Eve is one of my favorite Metallica songs.

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit Thumbs up for the comment, and the username.

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit No Fucking Doubt!!!!

  • @ScrewLimbBizkit remaster of st. anger wuld be better. it actually has sound issues on it with the drums especially. this albu sounds amazing without bas :)

  • 4:28 best riff of the song

  • @thrashforlife420 I agree. Sounds so brutal and rough. I love it.

  • ok i can hear the bass way better now. and its sounds actually better. i wonder why they didnt originally make the bass sound this loud. maybe because the wanted this album do be all like in ur face, and they must had think bass wouldnt had helped. idk but it soundns just fine to me like this! thumbs up if u agree!

  • @ddepjr actually they just did the bass down to piss off jason

  • @pascalshiyya

No, they really didn't. Though he was pissed off about it lol.

  • 0:47 to 1:00 sounds like a piece from damage inc.

  • how come there are absolutely no bass tab for this. its unbelieveable i cant find it any where

  • @straightupballin3 There is. Google it.

  • @theroach10 i have for days and i can find an accurate one

  • @straightupballin3 The first one on google for bassmasta is pretty accurate. I have the sheet music for this album and it is pretty much the same.

  • @straightupballin3 It is too awesome to be tabbed.

  • @BleedingMindsoffic i suppose. its not fair bwahhh! im just learning bass and the only 2 full songs i have played are disposable heroes and for whom the bell tolls. i kno like from half a song to certain riffs on plenty other songs. so far im 2 1/2 months into bass playing

  • @straightupballin3 Well, you are way better than I was, when I was playing bass for 2.5 months:P

  • Somewhere during the solo I lost track of how many times I jizzed out my ears.

  • Oh man... This is brilliant! Jason didn't get enough credit for this album. I know they were still grieving over the loss of Cliff, but they could have been more lenient on the guy. DX

  • i want to cry....this is absolutely fucking amazing with the bass audible now

  • son of a bitch, i love this more now that i can hear the bass

  • this bass is as sweet as the one from Blackened

  • To adimifus, you might wanna darken the "jason" in the pic, it looks like "and justice for alison

  • @macclandworld ALISON HELLLLLLLLLL!

  • MY MOMS NAME IS ALISON jk ;)

  • @m82a1light50cal that's fuckin trve.

  • @macclandworld lmao that's exactly what i thought.

  • @macclandworld maybe Alison wanted justice

  • @macclandworld the Jason Part was already part of a picture for a mod. album.

  • @macclandworld lol i didnt realize thats what it supposed to say XD

  • @macclandworld

almost. Put a white smudge on the white in "A" in the "All" and it will do the trick.

  • @macclandworld WHO THE FUCK IS ALICE! LOL

  • unstoppable bull is my definition to jason bass in this awesome mix

    ...and justice for jason

  • what? this is the best song they ever made!

  • its funny i was playin this on gh metallica on bass expert with my friend earlier and i was fuckin shocked i didnt fail this shit lmao

  • @xHuTcHx90x hahahahahahahaha yeah dude i didnt expect that when i first played dyers eve. i ended up getting 3 stars my first try and took me forever to get 5. looooooove jason and his fuckin insane bass playing

  • my ears are bleeding from this XD

  • what ads? where?

  • wow... so much better... the original version sounded like a no bass band...

  • where can i download the multi-tracks?, i used to have a site but all the links have been deleted :(

  • Sounds so much better with bass.

Jason's deep, heavy bass sounded really suited AJFA, shame it wasn't turned up.

  • Agreed, this is ...And Justice For ALL.

One of my tasty favorites for sure.

Don't think to hard. Instead, turn up the volume.

  • @aaronbaron54 Agreed, bass allways makes a difference (ofc saying that, I being a bassist my self) XD

  • Damn this sounds really good!

  • i like the way at the very end of the song the bass rings

  • LOL

    AND JUSTICE FOR JASON

  • oh. i thought it said and justice for alison. haha

  • everyone complains about how Jason followed the guitar on this album too closely but it sounds awesome, especially when he's goin full on with the double bass drum while the guitar is playing chords

  • @BlackOxify Yeah. i hate when people called him slow, or sloppy. I'd like to see them play this, exactly the same.

  • Sounds so awesome with bass! They should really re-release this album, Jason deserves it. And WMG can go fuck themselves, whoever is the marketing genius behind that company needs to get fired. YouTube is pretty much free ad-space. Idiots...

  • You mean youtube USED TO BE ad free.

  • @Scarecrow545 I didn't say it's ad free. I said it's free ad-space, meaning a free platform to promote artists they have under contract.

  • wow the intro sounds really agressive with the bass

  • 0:00 - 5:14 best part :D

  • hahahha that was funny but....seriously...the best part is 0:00-5:14

    xD

  • How do you take the tracks from GHM?

  • wow sounds alot better, the bass help it sound even more agressve.

  • @777metalmaster

absolutely agreed. soooo much heavier and ballsier than the normal album version. holy shit.

  • I've always stood by the production on this album. It's very compressed and crunchy. Actually hearing the bass though does make it more interesting.

  • I'd be so pissed... slaving away in the recording room for all 9 songs and when you're finally done and satisfied you can't hear any of it. I'd go ape shit and I never get angry.

  • poobearpanda345 actually james told them to put down the bass and make the drums loudest

  • 4:21:-4:23 best sounding guitar part.

  • I meant 4:21-4:23

  • the hole song is the best guitar part

  • It sounds good, but like the sound is compressed or being played in a very very small room

  • @Tombstone34 I agree-being a bass player though i like the way he did this-

  • its a good mess though

  • fucking kick ass song by the best band in the world!

  • Hell yeah!
