I read an article about this Jessica Anderson firing. The main reason she was fired was for using "inappropriate" language in front of children. Secondary to that she never give the man to opportunity to move his vehicle (or retrieve his license) before arresting him.
She didn't do anything wrong (except curse). Driving a motor vehicle without a license is an arrestable offense. He was already driving. She asked him to produce the license. She said she would patiently wait while he found the license. He said no, that he'd have someone else move the truck, then he said *he* would move it. He was testing her, being difficult, and not complying with her requests. She is supposed to arrest him if he is going into the car to drive it.

Something else in her life was bothering her, and a mountain of rage had accumulated. It took just a little bit more aggravation to cause the eruption, and when it happened, everything spewed out. It happens a lot with people...maybe you've seen someone go nuts over a little annoyance, and you can't understand why it would provoke such an extreme reaction...
