I honestly don't think I have anorexia but then sometimes I think I do. I'm torn between 2 things. I love being thin but I don't want to have an eating disorder. I can go days without eating if I really want to, but then there are days when I eat and I just feel fat so I stop eating again. I look in the mirror and think I'm fat after I eat, the only time I'm truly happy is when I haven't eaten and then I feel thin and beautiful.

thinspiration to some of us is just about losing excess weight to reach a healthy goal weight. im not saying all of the girls in this video are beautiful, some of them are pretty sick. but thinspiration for some people is just about getting in shape and these videos help support us on that journey to wellbeing.

I'm watching it for research into a character for a play, i'm trying to understand why someone would do that to themselves, my character dies from anorexia. It is based on a life story of a girl i know.
Men like different things, some like big girls, some skinny and some a healthy inbetween (like me). My boyfriend likes that I have boobs, an arse but a fairly thin waist, muscle definition is the key, not starvation.
Please. I'm begging you. Get healthy, get energised, get help.

Perfect doesn't exist, period. If your Anorexic thin enough doesn't exist. Anorexics keep going and going and going. They go so far to be 'Skinny enough' they die. Answer this: Why not be on a regular diet, and weight a regular weight? Maybe if people did that, they'd live long enough to see their grandkids. Or their own kids for that matter..

i dont think they're are saying skinny isnt beautiful-they are saying heavy is beautiful, they are saying that there is a point were skinny is no longer beautiful-there is a point of "too skinny" and i think the other people are just saying they dont want this video to encourage others to become too skinny cause it can be unhealthy...(my friend struggles with an eating disorder and i doubt this video would make her feel like its ok not to be 60 lbs) and i think thats all the other people mean...

It's just something we've managed to warp our minds into thinking is the ideal. 2 centuries ago being slightly over weight was the ideal, and was the most attractive because it meant you were rich, because you had enough money to feed yourself that much. I had a friend die of bulimia so don't talk to me as if I don't know the reality of it. If we all had to look only within ourselves for motivation then what's the point of a role model? It's unrealistic to always turn to yourself, you're only shutting out the world. Like I said, no one is asking you to accept it. Some people will die for equality, others for the perfect body: that's the world we live in, sadly.
