  • To those griping about the absence of the puppet Bert & Ernie... RELAX!!! The puppets are still part of the show. As others said, this is just a seperate series.

Besides, Steve Whitmire and Eric Jacobson (Ernie & Bert's current performers, who do a great job with the characters and voices, BTW) aren't always able to come to Sesame to shoot puppet material with them all the time, due to scheduling, including their committments to the "classic Muppets" (Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, etc.) at Disney.

  • even if bert & ernie were gay (which there not) doesnt mean little kids would notice as if they would no wat gay means the original meaning is happy when i was little i neva thought anything like that ppl are 2 over the top even with cookie monster eating fruit & saying cookies is a somtimes food & katy perrys dress when she was with elmo & even thomas the tank engine the fat controller is now the controller ppl need to shut up they will find out when there older anyway thumbs up if you agree

  • @angel97dev x3 for a while when I was a kid I thought Bert and Ernie were married.

  • What the hell is this crap?!

  • good clay animation

  • I saw this one this morning

  • i love watching this with my sister all of the time

  • She asked for duck detectives. I wonder if this was a reference to Duckman.

  • half a show? what's the point

  • FAIL.

  • As long as they keep the traditional puppet segments, I think the "Great Adventures" aspect would be a great addition.

I would have loved this as a kid. Even now, it still has some charm.

  • any idiots or haters need to get a grip, Bert and Ernie were based on Jim Henson's friendship with Frank Oz, who are both straight.

Geeze, whaddya do, share a brain?

  • LOL Bert at 1:24

  • Relax everyone - this isn't a replacement. "Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures" is its own show made for the international market. A lot of fans in the USA wanted to see it and Sesame Workshop included it as a sketch in the show itself. (Just like Global Grover was) Puppet Ernie and Bert are still part of the show.

  • Possibly the best theme song ever!

  • there are a lot of parents out there who need to get a grip and chill out Bert and Ernie have been on this show for all these years and never have there been any references about their living arrangements. Lots of men share apartments it shows that even on Sesame street that money is tight it doesnt automaticlly mean they are being inappropriate. There is being proper in thinking then there is just plain overdoing it.

  • Well, I always thought of them as about 20-25, they could simply be college students that share an apartment. I am very convinced that they are both virgins, as alot of 20 year olds are.

  • HATER!

That is a complete lie, idiot.

  • the puppets were better, but i love the facial expressions they make here C8

  • were adventurin every time the bed starts snappin'?

    O____O

  • stamping.

  • LOL! is Ernie a Mexican and Bert an Asian? Or is Ernie an orange and Bert a banana? Are they monsters, muppets,or people? Or are they just Bert and Ernie? Either way, I will always love them.

  • Sigh, I miss the original voices and original puppets.

  • i hate this, what ever happened 2 puppets?

  • I prefer the puppets. But this isn't too bad.

  • From what I've seen, I like Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures.

  • puppets sooo much better...

  • nuh, i want the puppets back.

I'm not impressed. The puppets are what makes it more realistic, its something like a soft toy you can hug or feel is reall talking to you because its 3D, and looks real,

a claymation film has more efeects and so one about it, but,...well, i guess i fell in love with the classic bert and ernie, and i miss watching them/

  • Is it me, or does Ernie and Bert seem liek Squidward and Spongebob with thir personalities/voices? :O

  • i think squidward was inspired by bert. haha..

  • yeah...i love it..=D

  • Very glad to see that Bert's line in the opening sequence is now "This is kinda catchy" instead of "This is kinda kicky" The first line created a lot of controversy among parents with dirty minds. lol

  • Yeah I agree with you, I love the puppets!

  • aww i miss the classic puppets im not a big fan of the animation

  • Meh. I'm a puppeteer myself, and I think the puppets have gotten a bit boring. The clay-animation is more intriguing to look at.

  • i love sesame street
