Wow, for ten minutes or so there I was seven years old again! I had the Alcan set. Pretty simple by comparison, but I remember it being tons of fun. I also remember finding those motors for the cars in drawers twenty years after the set had bit the dust. Thanks for the memories.

That's an amazing amount of track and accessories for Motorific. I'll bet finding cars with working engines is like finding a needle in a haystack though. One of the great things about Motorific was the creativity and ease in making different layouts. Your layout is fantastic!

Oh my god...what a trip down memory lane.. I had a set with a Humber Super Snipe, then we went to someone my parents knew when I was 6, they had a much older set that had a `gimble' pickup - like a wheel pickup that came out the slot all the time (mine had a better, later style of pickup tho I can't now remember what my pickup was like, only this other older set...)
