I don't see why everyone thinks this song is controversial, I don't believe God has failed me, but I still listen to it and love it. It's about the flaws in religion, but it doesn't condemn it. You can't be angry at God and not believe him at the same time.

Yes, all those religions also have a rule that says don't lie. So when someone asks where your relatives are so that he can kill them, you are not supposed to lie and you should tell them because you are not supposed to lie. Also in war when someone is shooting at you, don't shoot back, you are not supposed to kill. Also when someone is trying to kill your family and you have a gun, don't use it in self defence, just sit there and die. Turn on the TV, God has failed.
