In regards to the soundtrack, the melodies are good, but they screwed up with the instruments being too high-pitched. If they had lowered the pitch a bit, it'd be great.

There are a few fan remixes floating around though, and they're awesome.

As for my opinion on Leaf Shield, it's quite useful for farming, but I agree that the fact that you can't move without losing it brings down its usefulness.

The @ is actually automatic, and takes you to the user's latest comments. It's a new feature the admins haven't debugged fully yet, which is why not every comment has it, though some folks do remove it.

My conditions are simple. Beat the stage and boss without sliding and without special weapons. Sliding is allowed only if there's no other possible way to progress other than to slide. It's lame, I know, but I can't really think of anything else without being too assholish.

Pretty much all my PS1 games are RPGs; they'd hate me because 90% of my file time is grinding, in any given RPG, even Chrono Cross where grinding is unnecessary and not nearly as rewarding. And yes, I'm very much a fan of this soundtrack. I grew up with this and MMX1, so they are pretty much my favored Mega Man soundtracks, MM4 aside anyway. So despite what others have said about MMII's, I still love it to death. The Title Screen music alone gives me a major nostalgia rush, heh.

its funny, the title theme is also another theme in the game and the title theme is my fav as well, and my fav soundtrack was x2's sence i grew up on that, its also my fav MMX game, you did do the reference though it wasnt proton jon-ish as you'd say but there will be more oppertunities you dont have to be a platformer expert to get them either, aside from that im surprised how much we actually have in common, i still say wood mans next, though i can see its gonna be crash man, oh well XD

It's canon (in America, no Bandit Keith reference intended), as Light, though it has been Right a few times. As to which is truly correct, you'd have to ask Capcom of Japan. Of course, we got Mega Man instead of Rock Man, ruining the Rock and Roll theme. And Proto Man, Treble, and Bass instead of Blues, Gospel, and Forte, so take that with a grain of salt.
