There is a way for you to tell him without yelling at him or saying "herp derp,X". I don't know whether that is just a way to say hello or an insult, but still. You can just explain to him calmly without any yelling.

I was so happy for the adventure update, alot of people said it randomly generates all this stuff and makes it like one of those maps you can download where you adventure and stuff, you know adventure maps, so when I got 1.8 I was like, um, no signs saying anything..no randomly generated stuff like towns towers chests, I gave the game time after that, 1.0.0 new items, STILL NO ADVENTURE! I was upset, minecraft needs more adventure then the same thing " time to get wood" " time to make a house"

Hey X, did you know that in Beta 1.8 a new spider mob is coming, called a "Cave Spider"?
It's got a re-textured skin and a venomous bite. It's also very rare, and, of course, lives only underground.
I'm not saying you should play Minecraft again, but I did want to point out that this idea seems very similar to one of yours mentioned in the blog post.
X, with the new 1.8 Adventure mode, i'm sure you would love to play minecraft again. One of the things you mentioned in the early days of you playthroughs was "Giving spiders a poison bite" well notch is putting that in minecraft too. When 1.8 does come out please just try it and make a new video again... It would bring so much memories back to all of your fans.
with the new update there making it more adventurous so like you have EXP bar and hunger bar so you actually can just live without food. also new mob: Enderman O.O i don't want to meet him. anyway so i think he should continue with this adventure in minecraft.

P.P.S theres also BIG caves and dungeons that you can explore.

What the hell. do you know how many updates with amazing things notch had put in to the game.i mean you cant just stop playing on the second update! i mean really, you cant expect a game to be perfect when its NOT EVEN DONE!!!!! in the new update you get pistons, sprinting, abandon villages ,new mobs, giant chasms, and much much more.

As a minecraft player since pre-alpha I can say X is right. Minecraft is pretty bland now. Occasionally an update comes along that gets me to play a few hours but that's it. I don't get sucked back in.
Adventure mode might be cool, but it removes the sandbox nature of minecraft. Progression and sandboxs work. That's the entire basis of mmos

X, if you're looking for adventure, get AdventureCraft. It's a redesigned Minecraft program. It has cutscenes, triggers, timers, messages, and epic things can be created with it. This program really fits your playstyle. Skeleton bosses, heart containers, pistol zombies... It really adds adventure to Minecraft. You'll love this program. I guarantee it. If wolves are enough to get you to play a little bit of Minecraft then what about a new enemy mob, labyrinths,critical hits,sprinting,hunger,higher world space and more unique world generation, NPC villages,more farming (melons and pumpkins) ,hold to charge arrows,more player animations, new mushroom biomes with giant mushrooms,animal breeding, and chicken as food!!!

X, In the most recent update, 1.9, there are a LARGE # of changes that add many levels of progression, such as:
Fire resist potions that can only be made by killing blazes, which shoot fire at you that burns for 2.5 hearts.
powerful sword enchantments that require killing many tough enemies.
Great pick enchantments that make mining easier, and give you more resources per vein, but require diamonds.

To all you people losing your shit about 1.8, thinking that it is going to get X back to MC, think about what is so adventurous.
Bigger dungeons? Big whoop, some corridors and stairs.
Villages? So what? What feel of adventure is trading and a pigman going to give?

What the hell. do you know how many updates with amazing things notch had put in to the game.i mean you cant just stop playing on the second update! i mean really, you cant expect a game to be perfect when its NOT EVEN DONE!!!!! in the new update you get pistons, sprinting, abandon villages ,new mobs, giant chasms, and much much more.

I agree that some mods don't add much to the game. But many others add many new interesting aspects to the gameplay and experience.

Mods are alot more then u think there are mods like the aether that add like a hole new part of minecraft or more creeps that adds more objectives to a new season u could make most of your subbed came from minecraft and if u made more minecraft add mods it would be a hole new minecraft 2 u and a fun watch for all of us subbs minecraft dose get boring but after awhile start kicking in the mods and the fun will never stop. X, if u make a new minecraft lets play with mods i'll help u get them.

He plays what he wants to play, when he wants to play. If he wants to play Minecraft again, he will. He never quits a series, he just puts it on hold. And currently, Minecraft is on hold. He never actually said WHEN the series would continue. He just said that it WILL. So you have no reason to be upset.

As a minecraft player since pre-alpha I can say X is right. Minecraft is pretty bland now. Occasionally an update comes along that gets me to play a few hours but that's it. I don't get sucked back in.
Adventure mode might be cool, but it removes the sandbox nature of minecraft. Progression and sandboxs work. That's the entire basis of mmos

Hey X! If wolves are enough to get you to play a little bit of Minecraft then what about a new enemy mob, labyrinths,critical hits,sprinting,hunger,higher world space and more unique world generation, NPC villages,more farming (melons and pumpkins) ,hold to charge arrows,more player animations, new mushroom biomes with giant mushrooms,animal breeding, and chicken as food!!!
