ZUNE HD Radio

I can't set even numbers - f.e. 94.00 not possible, just 94.10. In Ireland there are channels with even numbers behind the comma. My radio on Zune HD is therefore full of noise, maybe in America it is fine, but not here

I have an iPhone so I can listen to radio from all over the world on an app in the iPhone I downlaoded called slacker radio, I can be anywhere and listen to Russian music then Israeli news from Israel and then 1010 wins in NYC. Or my favorite dance music station.

with the zune hd you dont have to have wifi where you are.

With my iPhone I don't need to be on wifi either, I have edge and 3G that enable me to listen to music anywhere, so far I have not found a dead zone and I drove to west palm beach florida last week with my iPhone streaming music all the way. Zune aint got 3G now does it?

@NarutoXxXUzumaki don't believe the hype. I'm 99% satisfied, the AT&T service is slower for the iPhone 4 which is the reason for the rummored problems but the problem is a software problem that an upgrade will fix so when Alcatel-Lucent updates the software then I'll be 100% satisfied.

Hey I just downloaded Wunder Radio for iPhone, It's the best radio app for iPhone, It even has police scanners not to mention all the great music from all over the world.

what's the different between slacker radio and hd radio? Cause i was thinking of getting a sony x series since I was unsure of the zune hd radio. Does hd radio have more music choices, or doesn't, compare to slacker on the x series.

depends on what you're listening to, hd radio is simply a radio station that splits into two different station; one playing regular radio and the other hd radio(improve sound). Slacker is a personalize radio(uncensor depends on music type) as oppose to hd radio.

your probably not in range of any HD radio stations. The signal has to be good or it will automatically switch to analog radio

No, it seems that -none- of the portables (Zune or Insignia) have AM. One problem may be that of providing an adequate antenna. I have noticed that AM-HD requires a strong, clean signal and a moving receiver with only the headset cord for an antenna is probably not adequate. AM is also considered an "old people's" medium and thus not a priority for this sort of device. Too bad as It may be AM's last chance.

HD radio is awesome. Better quality sound, song titles and artist info, extra music channels you can't get without HD and AM radio stations in crystal clear quality on the FM band. Oh yeah and being able to tag songs you like and download them from the Zune Marketplace is very cool.
