When you hear Carrie's songs, sure some of them are about getting back at guys but some of them are about knowing youre going to a better place(temporary home), some are about the life of being married(all american girl), and some are about having god help you through hard times(Jesus, take the wheel).

the reason, she is moving around at her concerts, everybody wants to shake her hand or at least touch it. And the easiest way to get to do that is walk around down the runway and get the audience hands.

I've just watched about five live Carrie vids and all she does is stand there and sing pretty. A great singer? Yes! An entertainer? No.

A singer doesn't have to dance to be an entertainer. I think she's just not a seasoned artist and that can only come with time.
Martina McBride and Reba McEntire do a good job of entertaining while singing; they connect with the audience. I think Carrie is still too self conscience about herself, how she looks, how she sounds.
She'll get there, it's just going to take time. I'll come back when she reaches that point and in the mean time I'll just listen to her.
She isn't going to be walking back and forth on the grand ole opry stage. Carrie knows when to perform and when to just stand there and sing.
Go watch some of the videos of here concerts where she's singing a fun song like "Before he cheats". She definitely is performing when singing those types of songs.

That's why there at the Grand Ole Opry, it just her and her band and that is it. Whereas right now on tour, it little more glitz out, because that's what fan except from her. Carrie said she rather be just on stage for her tour and stand there and sing and that's it. But the audience would find that boring.

well judging from other Opry videos and my personal expiriences at the Opry, the sound there is horrendous, the whole production for the most part isnt that great, it really looks more like the Grand Ole Amateur Hour if you've seen it live. Please realize I'm not knocking Carrie but rather knocking the production at the Opry
its not that its old, I assume their equipment is modern and up to date, but its that the people who control it arent the world's greatest sound people, also what may be right for them may not work best for Carrie since they are not actual member's of Carrie's touring crew and Carrie's live show and its parameters for sound are much different than the Opry's parameters
That's probably correct, since they don't work with Carrie, they aren't use to her higher vocals, and realizing she can get that high, but lot of people are that way, nothing unusual about her vocals, she surprising a lot of people, I guess when she does live. Which way she now Opry member.

well judging from other Opry videos and my personal expiriences at the Opry, the sound there is horrendous, the whole production for the most part isnt that great, it really looks more like the Grand Ole Amateur Hour if you've seen it live. Please realize I'm not knocking Carrie but rather knocking the production at the Opry

Isn't sound equipment there kind of old, I am not sure, never been there, but if you considering that Carrie did an excellent job with it.

its not that its old, I assume their equipment is modern and up to date, but its that the people who control it arent the world's greatest sound people, also what may be right for them may not work best for Carrie since they are not actual member's of Carrie's touring crew and Carrie's live show and its parameters for sound are much different than the Opry's parameters

That's probably correct, since they don't work with Carrie, they aren't use to her higher vocals, and realizing she can get that high, but lot of people are that way, nothing unusual about her vocals, she surprising a lot of people, I guess when she does live. Which way she now Opry member.
