ok, cheers. ye well watchout you dont/havent overcharged it! ...im worried i might have done just that. someone said you should charge it 8hours on the 1st and 2nd charge, then ye only a couple hours chargetime from then after. ....i got a very minimilistic manual you see, hence the confusion!
great little camera for the money though! .....on a 'bright day'
Nice results for such an inexpensive camera!! I have the same one, except mine picks up choppy video :/ maybe too much stuff on the SD card? (8gb, also a "class 2")
How do you choose between 320x240 and 640(or 720)x480?
@delt01 By default the camera uses the highest resolution possible. I think it can be changed only in webcam mode, although I never managed to use it as a webcam.
The choppy video is due to the SD card; mine was a class 2 as well, but not all class 2 cards are the same!
There are only two methods for removing the text, is by filtering it with a VirtualDub filter, or by editing the firmware of the camera. further details can be found here on youtube or on Google

@AVV0L The camera is usually charged in less than two hours, although I generally leave it charging overnight.
The battery life is not splendid, it usually lasts 40minutes or so. I think I'll add an external supply in place of the battery.

@thaifoodtakeaway Hi, Do you know what might be causing the date to flicker like that? Also, can you turn the date/time off?

@ACEinOZ I picked a 4GB card that was at the bottom of a drawer. surprisingly it is a class 2 card.
