ich hab alle 26 Folgen auf DVD....ist echt genial, hab das ende der 80er im tv geschaut (da war ich 5!). ich liebe diese lebenseinstellung. da gings noch um werte, freundschaft, abenteuer, spielen, schwimmen...und jetzt? call of duty hier, hdtv da....wer brauch diesen irrelevanten dreck? ich jedenfalls nicht! irgendwann geh ich auch in die wildnis um nicht weiter von der zivilisation vergiftet zu werden.

Genauso sehe ich das auch.Wir benutzen aber beide so neumodischen Zeug wie Internet und youtube. Shit. Die Kinder heutzutage habe fast keine Gelegenheit mehr draußen zu spielen. Also ich hätte Angst um meine Kinder in dieser Welt - bei dem Straßenverkehr,bei der GEwalt unter den Jugendlichen.

Habe auch einige Sendung auf Video damals aufgezeichnet,die werde ich nicht entsorgen. Obwohl ich sie glaube ich gar nicht mehr finden würde.

Wow... If this semester the topic of my minor subject "social and economic studies in history" was not about the development of the USA, I probably would not have remembered this... Must be at least 20 years ago since I last watched that show. Loved it! But I did not know that it was considerably new back then, that it was just made in ´79. Also I thought it was an American production, guess I was wrong. Might have to buy it on DVD I think...

Lief das nicht einmal erst auf der ARD. Ich erinnere mich daran dass die Vorspänne sehr oft geändert wurden und auch nur Castmitglieder drin waren die auch in der Episode mitwirken. Wenn ich mich recht erinnnere war Tante Polly zum Schluss nicht mehr dabei. Auch Tom und Huckleberry wurden getrennt und waren nicht mehr zusammen im Vorspann.

Genau, das lief auch mal im Ersten. Die Musik finde ich sehr schön, leider fehlen hier beim Video die ersten paar Sequenzen, aber egal. Letztmalig im Ersten lief das übrigens anno 1989. Kaum zu glauben, dass das schon 20 Jahre her ist. Es gab in der Tat noch einen anderen Vorspann, unter anderen auch einen mit dem Sklaven Jim, wenn ich das richtig in Erinnerung habe.

Well, understandable, except, that, being German, the "ey" was mostly pronounced as "i". But since it was not such a common name in Germany either, some people pronounced it "ej" like in "hey". She was a very famous actress in Germany since the forties and actually a brave woman. I am not saying it to criticize you. Just take it as a fun fact.

it was a joint German / Canadian production. Filmed in English and redubbed in German also. Most actors were Canadian, but a few were German.
