i have mpd32 with logic pro i think im gonna get one mpc the im gonna edit and poroduce on logic! the via vinily and mpc is better than the mp3 and mpd

  • that's the best move u coulda did, these niggaz try to get by usin that FL studio shit and all there beats sound the same. MPC all the way baby

  • yu killed that sun

  • anybody know how to transfer beats on to the compy?

  • Ya mon, I do...I was one of the first guys to get the Mac G5 when it first came out...got a BIG audio interface, top of the line Motu 828<<< thats 8+2 inputs! Firewire! Rackmountable! Yeh, I gotta rack that I set my 2000xl on, right next to my turntable...after all that noise and drama, I STILL COULD NOT SEQUENCE TIGHT BEATS!!! Broke down last year and bought my MP offa Craigslist...never looked back...just try to concentrate on mastering the 2000<<<True story...I got tha scars to prove it...

  • you have to save those wave files on the compact flash then plug your reader to your computer then upload....how cheap did youy get your mpc2000xl.. i got mine for 600 off ebay with the mcd drive and a compact flash reader back in nov.

  • i got my mpc for 500 its in fantastic condition easily could have went for 900 though i was blessed

  • @BlackProtocol use audacity

  • oh wow! that's beautiful man. i wanna grab me a 2000xl jut for the buttery rich sound it provides.

  • You can download the manual from Akai's website in pdf and print it...thats what I did...

  • i know i cant get it to size right though its either way to big or way too tiny

  • You're gonna hafta take the pdf file, save it onto a usb stick and have Kinkos print it for you...let them deal with the size issue...make sure you make them print it on paper with the holes already punched, then find an old 3-ring binder, <<< I scavenged mine from a dumpster behind an office building! In perfect shape! Total bucks: $20-30...

  • maaaaaaaaad... Keep it up homiiiiiie?

  • welcommmmmme in the mpc family yo! and on the real thats a pretty damn good beat for a first beat !

    big ups

    peace

  • dope. i been wantin a 2kxl

  • Dope man is that an Al green sample. I can tell once you start knowing your 2kxl youll be def makin sick tracks.

So how you like the MPC.

  • i love the mpc. i had an sp-606 like 2 years ago it was a really good machine had great effects but i just like actually playing the pads opposed to clicking on a mouse, i still got a ways to go about understanding how to time-stretch correctly and efficiently saving shit. doesnt hurt that i bought it of ebay for 500 either
