It is indeed a great speech by that gentleman. It can even be greater speech if he can add at least one Mon word such as " Ma Ngay Ra Ao or Thang Goon Ra Owl in front of those multi races Burmese Community in London. I think some of the Mons in the UK are so ashamed of speaking Mon language. There's no need to be ashamed of. Because Mon language is the oldest language in Burma, we should be proud of it and speak our language as loud as we can!
Thank you for the suggestion. In fact, he spoke the words "Ma Ngay Ra Ao" at the beginning. One of my English friend said "England used to be great Britain". This is quite understandable in the modern world.Public diplomacy is an important language as well.
Personally, I'd like to be conservative on some causes and I'm liberal on others. In other words, Im a moderate. We are expecting there could be effects from different point of views and also respect the comments. For the reasons of majority participants, hospitality, protocol and the courtesy ... I think it is also valuable to promote our community in different ways.
Can you speak Mon since it was Mon National Day so?
