  • sounds great! loving it man!

  • I have the same amp and want to make it sound a little fuller and bigger, does your cab setup do this or would a 2x12 cabinet be better? Also, you just take the speaker cable out of the speaker in it right now and plug it into the cab? Nothing else needed? Thx

  • This sounds really great !!

  • @STRAIGHTAHEAD1970 Thanks for the comment.

  • @pine2earth Thanks for the advice, im gonna give it a try. Guessing you use an adapter with the two speaker clips into a mono jack. Cheers.

  • @icedcoffeetones I just used a 1/4" - 1/4" Speaker Cable. No adapter or speaker clips used.

  • Some nice tone out of the epi man, can you tell me how you ran the bj nos into the 1960 cab? I thaught they needed 8ohms?

  • @icedcoffeetones After disconnecting the amp(8ohm) from the stock speaker(8 ohm), I just plugged it into the 1960A(16ohms).

Through the connection, the power I got might be much less than 15W and probably less volume because of more ohms(more resistance) on the speaker side.

Plugging it into a 4ohm cab(less resistance than the stock) will cause overheating and burn up.

Hope it helps and thanx for the comment. :-)

  • Oh Yeah!! Nice zz blues!!
