As others have said, this music is basically derived from Jupiter from "The Planet Suite" by Gustav Holst who was British. This is why Princess Diana had it included in the music for her wedding in the setting "I vow to thee my country" long before it became the rugby national anthem. The Planet Suite was written in the 1930's. This is a statement of fact.

The original version sung by PJ Powers at Ellis Park is still the best version, she is a true child of Africa...the whole process in 1995 was overwhelming, I have never been that emotional, before or since.
