I have an Aegis, I can't recommend it enough and I tried them all first. It's so comfortable that I hardly notice it's there and I now never ride without it. Well done to Knox and thanks again Brian for another superb, informative, video.
I have one of these and was extremely impressed, the kidney protectors are especially a nice touch. If you only need it once and it does its job, it's more than earned its value.
I wore this back protector at my first track day this weekend, and ended up with a bruised vertebrae. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I might've had it up too high, or too tight, or perhaps i simply wore it for too long? I didn't take it off from about 9 AM to about 5:30 PM. Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I know this is supposed to be a comfortable back protector.
First off, my apologies to Sportbiketrackgear for posting this in a public video, it was not my intention to badmouth the store (which has been nothing but fantastic to me, with both excellent deals and customer service), or the product (which I feel is very well constructed, and of superior quality). I do feel that I may have had it positioned incorrectly this past weekend. The bruise is slightly below mid back, where my spine protrudes the most while in the tuck position.
i like mine lil to big though , i think i need the 8 plate race instead of 9
