Ive already seen this, so i know how it felt when i lost lydia as well, RAGE MODE!!!!! Used shouts, enchanted bows, destruction magic, flame archnoche, then used my fail raise zombie spell and tossed them across the map...then realized she wasnt dead :p

Also, Lydia uses the sword because it's faster than an axe and has better damage than the axe of whiterun. Also, she considers it higher quality because it's made of a higher tier smithing.

You should so put points into the sneak perk that reduces armor noise,get the muffle spell, and 150 magicka. Since you like archery and are a good shot, you should probably put points into sneak anyway to get better archery sneak attacks. You'll love those big hits. You could also increase your heavy armor skill to get the weightless armor perk that will make you run faster and not become as easily encumbered. Some smithing would also help out for better weapons. Thumbs up for protips.

Been playing games since I was 2 in 1985, always play on max difficulty, and still act like Toby does on blind plays because it's more fun that way than pretending it's a job. I personally think it's more realistic and know from personal experience that most let's plays cut out their failures and don't voice the stupid stuff normal people think.
