This was the day in 1989 that BOTH Al Unser,Jr and Emmo became my favorite drivers. Before that I grew up watching AJFoyt and Unser,Sr and Mears, but that red/white paint (which Emmo brought to the US) has become an icon now. I miss the Valvoline car also that Jr drove so well.
I loved watching Jr, race. I miss watching jr race! If it wasn't for him I'd never have started watching racing. If there was one man I wished never aged or drank, it would be him! Best driver ever!!!
