  • Thank you

  • Who filmed this? When and where? It has an english vibe.

  • i'm the only one see a rabit eating a carrot? at 0:00

  • i feel sad for that rabbit he has to run as much as he can to save his life

  • what an amateur goshawk!!!

  • I just don't think there's anything that flies as well as this species.

  • futuristic pornmusic. Seuggghhhh... But inn the next 40 seconds, he catches the rabbit, and eats him.

  • futuristic pornmusic. Seuggghhhh...

  • superb video.

anyway i just watched rabbit vs snake again :D

  • DAMN NATURE U SCARY

  • This rabbit helps me overcome my own fears!

  • that rabbit is my new hero

  • This was amazing. Rabbiits can run up to 40km/h and they can change their directions in a second. Glad to see that those peaceful animals survived.

  • The second rabbit was good but the last rabbit was even better!

  • Rabit is like a Lotus Elise. Small and light but highly maneuverable.

Goshawk is like a big Lamborghini. Powerful and attractive but not the best at cornering.

  • who cares about the kill? the beauty is on the flight

  • Great video... awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gotta love Accipiters... with those short, rounded wings and long, rudder-like tails for maneuverability. Such badass birds!!! And the adult NOGO is stunning with the white supercilium and (in the older birds) blood-red eyes. Thanks for the post!!

  • tHIS GOS IS VERY GOOD,RABBITS are very difficult ,and the gos must be very well trained and resistant ,good work man

  • All the world will be your enemy, Prince of a Thousand enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.

  • @Phelan666 love that film m8. awesome quote. Very apt.

  • goshawks are so kool...

my dad has a "finished goshawk"

  • Nature's version of fast food.

  • great chase! Rabbit outsmarts the hawk time after time

  • The rabbit didn't really out smarted the Hawk. The Hawk was young and was learning how to hunt.

  • That's clearly not a very young hawk

  • @TheFalconryFan

no that hawk didnt look that young but either way the rabbit didnt "out smart" the hawk because it wasnt thinking it was running on instinct. so its really just nature and the rabbit had a better edge and usually does because the hawk is faster in the air and if it misses the first grab it wont get the rabbit...

  • @CRASDFGH, it's a Juvenile Goshawk which means it's young, Northern Goshawks feathers change to a black, grey, and white colors this one has a light brown and white colors which means it's Juvenile.

  • Somebody's got butter-talons.

  • Isn't this a hare?

  • All this slow-mo crap and the Hawk doesn't get the kill.

  • @Keezy73 Hey, considering how many times the rabbit was gored, it'll probably bleed out or die of infection within a few days... so this really does have a happy ending!

  • @Keezy73 just shows you how balanced nature is

  • damn fuckin rabbit! this hawk needs to sharpen his claws a bit more..

  • OMG WHAT A LUCKY LITTLE RABBIT AFTER ALL THAT, HE DESERVES TO LIVE A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE!!!! ;)

Paris Lo in las vegas ;)

  • Awesome footage! The little fella deserves to live after that. I particularly like his deft sidestep at 2:48 :)

  • This Clip is Freaken Awsome!!! I Love it...

  • Does anybody just love the music as much as I do? haha

  • @phillipstr07 whats the name of it,song,

  • @HODOUTHINKUAR

it s written at the bottom of the video >.>

  • @lvoodoo2you lol

  • @lvoodoo2you bless dude reminds me my child hood

  • @phillipstr07 It's oddly fitting.

  • Rabbits fuck so hard, it's unbelievable.

  • totally thought this was gonna be a pop up video and scared me...

  • i wish that goshawk woullda ripped that little thumper to shreads

  • The rabbit is very clever, and waits for the hawk to commit to a

lunge.....then spins on it's heels the other way. Amazing.

  • the whole time i was like GO Bunny GO!!!

  • cool bird but poor bunny

  • Is the name of the song "Dance Of The Clouds"?

There are many versions of this song.

Does someone know the name the author of this song?

    Thank you!

  • Bunny wins, and all paws up for this courageous bunny~

  • fly bunny, fly bunny, fly...you are a courageous bunny!!!

  • it probably got hunted the next day LOL

  • the power in its wings!

  • smart bird! flew low to avoid detection..

  • very nice video and the sound was awsome enjoyed it

  • I hate that you mentioned that because my computer's sound died just as I got to this video lol

  • bunny never gave up.

  • Very interesting video with very nice music! I love it!

I think it looks like the Rabbit got caught at 2:30.

Does someone know the name of this song?

  • So diid he catch him or not? Look at my video! Thats a catch! :)

  • Run bunneh! RUUNN!! XD

Wow, that's some of the worst rabbit-catching work I've seen! He had his talons on the rabbit 4 or 5 times, and let the bunnyeh slip right through! :P

    Inept hawk!

  • that sad:(

  • Hahahaha Bugs Bunny says: "What a owned ownned owned hawk!"

  • Well done Bunny

  • thats not a hare stupid they got long legs

  • I notice some people are writing about the speed of various animals and yes, a jackrabbit (which is of course a hare) could speed along for 45 mph. The animal in this video looks to me like the European rabbit. It has a very different way of running to a hair, and flat out could do betweent 30 and 35 mph. I once remember a cheetah being tested on a greyhound racetrack in London some years ago and it did reach 55mph but only for about 100 feet. Most of the time it ran around 36 mph.

  • How did beagles ever catch them then? Did they corner it in it's hole?

  • I imagine it's because they've got very good staying power and can run for a long distance, which a rabbit can't.

  • Oh, that makes sense.

  • the rabbit was puttin the moves on the hawk

  • There are very silly people on this site who honestly believe a cougar is faster than the fastest hare you talk about dumb..lol amazing and can't read correctly or thinks a cougar can run as fast as a pronghorn HAHAHAHAHA!!! people need to lay off the crack..lol

  • No kidding, a cougar may be able to keep up with the pronghorn for like 3 seconds but then after that it would be like a ford pinto trying to keep up with a corvette.

  • I know!! that's what i was trying to get this guy/ woman on here to understand pronghorns are way way faster than any couger and the fastest hares are faster than any land predator except the cheetah

  • where did you get this film? I saw it years ago on a Spanish series with other amazing footage like a Shrike attacking a mouse, all set to similarly bizarre music.

  • i take it theat gos likes to play with its food pmsfl

  • stupid hawk cant get a grip

  • That is my new favorite video. Absolutely breathtaking.

  • Amazing that a animal so small can produce so much speed and agility especially Hares

  • Well the smaller the animal the faster its relative metabolic rates and whole lifestyle are. Which is why they live shorter lives, because their hearts beat so many more times, they literally live faster.

Get something like a mouse and the rabbit would think its Goku.

  • I understand that but the fact remains there is not an animal on this earth that is the size of the fastest hare and is able to generate that much speed they are in a class by themselves in that regard, so its more than just their metabolic rate if that was the only factor mice would be faster than dogs, but the fastest hare is faster than the fastest deer, dog, and are really equal to the race horse i'm sorry but thats amazing to me given there small size

  • I don't know so much about specifically their speed, many things are similar speeds at that size (in the air that hawk can dive bomb tens of kmph's faster than that rabbit can run, however certainly the agility of these are higher and are amazing as you say.

If you look at the bigger picture, so many animals have amazing traits that you could give them each their individual praises =]

  • I studied wildlife for many many years so i have a clear perspective. and yes the hawk is faster he should be he is flying. but when it comes to mammals as far as speed there are no other land animals of equal size that can attain the type of speed, their are other bird species that can be faster than a goshawk but find me another animal of the hares size on average that can produce more speed?? it's one of the most amazing things in nature without question.

  • Hmmm, I don't know about one of the most amazing things, like I said many other animals can do many other amazing things, wether its jumping high, changing colour, firing their faeces, reform after being completely torn apart, survive being frozen.

My side of the debate just comes from the fact it's subjective, and what others find amazing, others may not find as amazing.

wing beats of insects.. 2000 beats per second in some midges, 200 a second in bumble bees, I find those amazing. =]

  • Now you are just nit picking , and you still have not answered my question, name 1 land animal that is the size of a hare that can produce more pure speed? name one? you can't. with all due respect weather you recognize it or not it does not change the fact that this adaptation is one of the most amazing things in nature. Not just my view do some research on your own and see what experts say. bottom line i respectfully disagree with your stance but it's all good:-)

  • I'm a nit picker =]

I didn't say there was something that could produce more speed, I said there was things which can produce similar speeds. I'm not denying its fucking fast dude, I'm just saying to say its one of the most amazing things without realising that it is subjective is an extremely bad way to look at it. I can see where you're coming from, but all experts say everything is amazing, as each expert finds other things amazing. I could find lots confirming your story, and lots mine.Chur

  • I apologize for saying you are nit picker, but you are not looking at this clearly, that speed you mentioned is a remarkable adaptation consider all the things that eat them most mammals that have this type of pressure from predators would be wiped of the face of the earth, yes their reproduction is a huge factor but so is speed and agility...and also I agree with you that there are other amazing animal feats in nature, but to say the hares adaptation is not one of them we dont agree but it's ok

  • here we can agree. I'm not saying its not one of them, I do find it is amazing. I just put it equal with all the other amazing things. Where as you put it higher. No very much so, it is an awesome trait that they have.

  • terrer i no of to that can run down a hare no problam and do reguley

  • thats not true- certain mustelids can run down equal sized and larger rabbits.

the fisher weights from 4-20lbs and they can run down any rabbit-so can pine martins & stoats.

All prey heavily on all rabbits/hares...

  • You mean to tell there is a member of the weasel family that can run down a healthy adult Jackrabbit or European brown hare???? you are truly out of your mind, the hares they catch are hares that are very young or very ill there is no land predator in the world except the cheetah that has more pure speed than the fastest hares thats a fact! no terrain can be a factor but a healthy hare can easily escape any member of the weasel family...you have gotta be kidding me with a weasel.lol

  • the fisher can catch any hare-they are the fastest members of the weasel family.

the have killed & eaten lynx, otters, martens, house cats, foxes, goshawks & can even overtake squirrels in tree's.

  • I'm ignorant??? you sound like a fool coming on a site saying a fisher is faster than any species of hare, and there is no couger in the world faster than the antelope jackrabbit! and mean to tell me a fisher is going to a sea otter or large river otter??? you are odviously high or something!

  • u are ignorant

cougar, foxes, coyotes can all run down the fastest hares. They are all aroound the same speed....

    go look it up

  • Don't have to been knowing about this for decades, since you are kinda slow let me break it down for ya...The fastest hares have a faster attained speed than any canine or cat other than the cheetah, the only way they are caught is if they are ambushed or in the case of coyotes and foxes they use relays to tire out the hare or if the terrain is wet or icy then the predator has an advantage but a healthy adult Jackrabbit can a vast majority of times can flatout outsprint any canine thats a fact!

  • yes and no any hawk any good hawk can take a hare in full sprint it is far eseyer for a hawk to take a hare runing at full wak than it is if it wos sat still as that is the hares trick to wat till the last secand my fhh takes hare reguley and verry well

  • cougar & thompson's gazelle are the 2nd fastest animals on earth.

Both are faster than hares. 50mph to your hare's 40-45mph....

    tsk,tsk,tsk

  • So you mean to tell me a cougar is faster than a pronghorn, grants gazelle, springbok gazelle, impala, blackbuck antelope, jackrabbit, ostrich, to name a few??? if you are serious i'm sure there are some good rehab places you can search to find the help you need. instead of saying stupid things on youtube!

  • rehab-wtf are you on?

can you read? 50mph is 50mph-I didn't say it was faster than any antelope did I?

making up shit then countering it? you're arguing with yourswlf-not me...

I guess you're the one who NEEDS HELP

    lmfao

  • 2 weeks ago you said the thompsons gazelle and the cougar are the second fastest animals on earth. THEY ARE NOT!!!!!!! (1)cheetah 70 mph,(2) pronghorn 65mph,(3) blackbuck antelope and springbok antelope 60mph,(4]thompsons gazelle, dorcus gazelle, grants gazelle about 55mph,(5)impala, ostrich,ANTELOPE JACKRABBIT! 50mph where is the cougar???? please get your stuff together before trying to make a serious argument with me! just clueless! my goodness!

  • 1-experts don't even agree on the top speed of the cheetah! top speed is said to be between 60-70mph.

So-its easy to doubt the validity of your other animal speed.

& yes-I maintain that cougars top speed is 45-50pmh.

55mph for a jack rabbit?!!? boy-you are WAY off...no wonder why you keep arguing

    45mph tops for ANY rabbit...

  • you're saying a pronghorn antelope is only 5mph slower than a cheetah?

Its obvious that you don't know what you're talking about. Cougars are neck in neck w/ pronghorn 45-50mph

    ostrich run @ 40mp

geez-how can 1 person be so worng about THAT many things-and STILL want to argue?

    wtf?

  • You are a very very rude person thinking you are the only one who has a point of view! if you think a cougar has even a slight chance of having equal speed of a healthy adult pronghorn you are out of your mind!!! there is ABSOLUTLEY NO LAND MAMMAL OTHER THAN THE CHEETAH THAT'S FASTER THAN A PRONGHORN!!! AND JACKRABBITS ARE FASTER THAN MOUNTAIN LIONS GET A GRIP DUDE GEEZ!!!

  • Pronghorns are indeed the 2nd fastest animal on the planet.

That dosen't stop cougars from eating them

but that has nothing to do with Jackrabbits now does it?

The are MANY ANIMALS WHO CAN RUN AT 45MPH

even domestic greyhounds can do so

    not just jackrabbits lmao....

  • ...it doesnt necessarily matter how fast animals are to eat other animals

my dogs are nowhere near as fast as some foxes but they still manage to kill some

coyotes arent as fast as deer..but they still eat them

lions arent NEARLY as fast an gazelle, but they still eat them

  • Salukis, Whippets & Greyhounds are used to hunt hares & antelopes...

funny how you don't know this

45mph is both the top speed for "sight hounds" and hare/jack rabbits

funny-no new information gets processed in that tiny brain of yourz...

  • cougars can match the speed of a hare. Both have 45 mph as there top speed.

go look up both cougars & fishers. fishers only live in north america....

  • don't tell me im out of my mind just b/c your ignorant about fishers...

  • agreed

  • amazing footage, i love the music to ! 5*

  • The rabbit is beautiful? What about the goshawk? He is the real star. I wait for more videos from you.

  • Rabbits are easily the most beautiful animals on this planet.

  • and really tasty !! yummie....

  • with a side dish of venison mmmmmmmmmmmmmm carnt beet the litle quwelers tho mmmm yum

  • @strandneuker go fuck yourself
