Great video & performance. What year is this? Is it from a movie? I have a video of them on Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts from the early 50s and have been a fan since seeing that, tho I'm not really into country music, except this old time stuff. your post caught my eye. you see, scotty stoneman is my absolutely number one hero of country fiddling. my music partner (drums and banjo and vocals) completely agrees too. we both see an intensity in scotty's playing comparable to jimi hendrix. in fact, our band motto is 'acoustic music with rock intensity!'
