  • That's not a flemmish instrument. That it is a instrument used in middle ages and Renaissance all over Europe. In german it is called "Drehleier". Since these russian songs are from 16th and 17th century you can see that the musical development in the russian villages was around 200 to 300 years later than in middle Europe.
