Its such a shame John Lydon is dead. I used to rate his usual style of singing & as a dresser & performer. Pistols were smart & Pil 78-82 were even better & ahead of the game but when Levine left , He got smug & yes maybe Rise & those Mid 90's Pistols shows were good,but can anyone tell me what he has done of any serious quality since 1986??? It could be argued that between 1978-81 Pil were even better than the Pistols. This particular track still sounds modern now! It really saddens me that Lydon does not care anymore his age has nothing to do with it , it's his attitude. The singing style changed sometime around 1982 for the worse. He is like the Oliver Reed of the music world.....in other words had the potential to be the greatest thing in music since Hendrix but he fucked it.
