I tried that bro, it's not that simple... sometimes the color shades in the vid will also be changed just because of saturation issues...  That can really mess up your footage. Very Clever, though... What I want to know is where the HECK if can find a green screen!?!!?

you take green because green is the farthest color from your skin tone so the backround doesnt blend in with the actual video. :P

Oh u can find a green sheet or blanket, and just hang it on the wall or something, instead of a green screen. You can also type 'Buy green screen' or something in the search box and buy one online.

I've seen people make it using construction paper, works great and is super cheap!

the folowing colors work as screen

GREEN

BLUE

and sometimes YELLOW

yes. any color works....but.... orange and red will blend in with the color of your skin, if your know what i mean

Sigh... I was hoping for more... I have Adobe Premiere 7ish... I use both Chroma Keying as well as the Green screen to get the achieved effect. Chroma will get the "weird" green shadows while the Green screen will remove the "true green." I was wondering how to adjust the hues during green screen (my vides need more contract and saturation) and if I change it before or after the sreen, it effects the green and the overall key.

What if you dont have croma key, just green screen??

a green screen is a screen that you use that is green, so you can chroma key.

some editing programs call chroma key green screen, but both are the same thing.

Claire how come when i do this my video that i'm trying to use turns almost translucent? I can see through the people now. Is there any way so that that won't happen? Also there is a piece of green on something else and now that disappeared too.

You should try adjusting the transparency, and try using a garbage matte.

Yes, you may do it with a different color, such as blue. You may use any color that is not on you. If you are wearing a green shirt, and you are using a green screen, your shirt will become transparent on your editing program.

You can pretty much use any color that is not on you, but green and blue work the best.
