  • The parallels between the talents of Bill Miller, Native American, and Keola Beamer, Native Hawaiian, are too spooky to be real. SO much talent - needs to be recognized!

  • This is very deep ..!!

  • the rezervation road is always paved so we must force our way through all the lines the govt. makes for our people========

  • I had the privilege of talking to Bill a year or two ago after he played a few tunes at a local campus in Tennessee. We talked about how I really connected with him on both of us having had resented our fathers who were no longer with us. I told him he inspired me to finally forgive him. Bill seemed glad and understood.

We need more people in the world like Bill Miller.

  • Man, this takes me back. I used to listen to Bill Miller all the time as a kid.

  • A very touching song, making me cry.

  • This man is awesome - one of the best musical talents we have.

  • i like this musician and it is good that he sings, and does honor to the old ones and their memory, but those days of old are gone forever, never to return, only in our dreams. it is a hard road that native americans walk to day,i know that they have the power with in themselves as all men do, to do great things or terrible things. i was married to a native woman for quite some time and saw the best and worst of their way of life, but i always remember the strong and kind words of her grandfather.

  • Beautiful! Want to be among the trees and nature...Away from all these troublesome times that are happening in our Country

  • he is one of the best musiains to ever live, he is great in everyway. <3

  • Bill has been a favorite of mine for many years. He is very spiritually gifted with his native talent and it flows through him and out to all people of many nations. His music is very close to my spirit and thanks so much to all.!! Just plain BEAUTIFUL!!

  • I love this music what blessing you are how any deny the love that you people show through your music I very hooked to this most beautiful music that I have heard for ever, Makes very ashamed of the American white man race where I grew, My real Dad was Native never knew him even though I always in some way felt very attached to him over the years I have always heard that he was a wonderful man that is the only memory that I hold of him,

  • Cuacualtzin(Beautiful),...luvin' these Bill Miller Vibes,...macuilli citlalin(5*) for ya doctrDave and tlaskamati to my buddy vitrohypedotnet for the AWESOME share!! =D

  • somewhere long ago on this trail that brought mist in our eyes... same eyes looking at us today from every corner of our globe...on every screen on every page of our history.. those eyes are like laser beams resonating pain....why are we still here?

Bill you have reopened deep wounds that haven't healed...love music that comes from your conscience and most of all from your wounded heart.

  • I love his songs! And this most of all. I was hospitalized in Rapid City in August 1997. With bedrest the only thing I could do was listening to music and looking at TV. Lucky me, I had a newly bought CD (Reservation Road). I listened at it, looked out the window at Black Hills, and longed for the reservation. (The Pine Ridge reservation,)

Thank You Bill Miller for alll your music and the comfort it has given me.

    Eva from Sweden.

    Philamayaye!

    All the best!

  • Right On...Bill.....!.....Check Out mine on youtube: wolf patterson .....Will always remember our show in Nashville with MMM

  • ok I guess one drop might be a stretch but I was trying to prove a point and I apparently didn't read hwisman's comment very well. He said you can't be white and have a native american grandparent which I have no idea how this relates to the video seeing as bill miller is abviously native american and not all white. You can have a small amount though and still be as native american as a full blood. A wise women said once you either are or your not, not part. sorry you got so offended.

  • First Class!

  • hwiseman it doesn't matter if its one drop or a million you either are or you aren't. can u pin point the exact spot in ur body where the one drop is or can any one. no of course not. there are people with one drop that are more native in heart than 1/2 or even full.

  • that is a load of hogwash and needs to be taken out with the evening trash. Posting ur opinion on Youtube does make you the authority or give you the final word on Native America. One drop of Indian blood does not qualify someone to speak for all of us. It seems to me that the wannabees and gonnabees go to the extremes to prove they are Indian. The 'real' Indians haven't the time, the struggle is too great and the burden grows heavy after the years and miles.

  • I saw Bill live in Western PA nearly a decade ago --- under a star filled sky -- world class!!! I love this song.

  • bill molto impegnato per la sua musica e de anche una musica molto bella viva BILL MILLER

  • a.i.m. it,s great song..thnx,mr.miller

  • I saw him live 2 years ago at Saratoga NY at the Native American Fest and I cant wait to see him again! Thanks for posting!

  • Saw him live opening for Tori Amos. Fantastic artist. His album "the Red Road" is very moving - recommended.

  • Reminds me of my grandfather, and i, he passed when i was 4 and he was the last full blood in our family, ive always missed him dearly, and this songs reminds me of the sound of his voice when he told me stories, great song Bill.

  • How can one have a Cherokee or a Whatever-NDN grandparent, parent...and be white? I guess the one-drop doesn't apply in this case.

  • BILL SEI MOLTO BRAVO

  • ancore

  • Excelent song. Thanks for sharing. Hugs.CMPTICA

  • i just heard and saw him at our school pretty good

  • I absolutely love this song . Just started listening to Bill Miller, WOW his music is powerful and moving. New fan ,forever hooked. My great grandmother was Cherokee . My father never talked about her much i wished he had. We owe the Indian far more than we could ever repay . I as a white man am greatly ashamed for what that side of my people have done

  • @everykneeshallbowtoj

Well, if your great grandmother was Cherokee, you're hardly just a white man, yeah?

Spirit speaks louder than blood or skin color.

  • @everykneeshallbowtoj You aren't a "white man" if your great grandma was full Cherokee. Even if your skin is as pale as this youtube page background, you are still 1/8 Cherokee. I have VERY white skin, but am a half-blood of Cherokee, Choctaw and Chickamauga ancestry and I am a tribal member as well. Skin color has nothing to do with it, if precious Indian blood has been diluted over time with white blood, then you will "appear" to be "white, but you are not. Embrace your heritage. <3
